3 hours and $150 sing dollars later... this is what I got... a lazy wave perm... not really what I expected and I think that I over communicated my nervousness to the guy who did it so he put to much relaxer in it afterwards... These pictures were taken the same day I had it done and now it is pretty much straight like before (2 days later).

I like it! I really wish I could give you some of my volume because I've got too much. My hair does the opposite in hot, humid weather. I'll have curls where I don't want them and try and try and try to get it to straighten out, to no avail. :-)
it looks so good. When you said perm I was scared for you at first but wow not what I was expecting.
I would love to trade you my curls for your straight hair! But, since I was born with it and stuck with it, I think I'll go shower and do it cute and curly. Miss you.
I like it - it's fun and beachy looking! I'm with Renee, I def don't have a problem with it staying curly...getting it straight is usually the issue. So can you still straighten it if you wanted to? I’ve never had a perm, so I don’t really know what it’s like…
I was pretty concerned about your mental state when you wrote that you were getting a perm. I thought maybe an intervention was in order. But I have to say -- it's super cute and I think you did good. I'm sorry that it didn't stay in. Maybe try again?
I'm jealous that your hair is flat when it's humid. My hair is FRIZZY when it's humid. But it's not so bad. I live in Houston where it's only humid 349 days a year. So that gives me 16 good hair days. Oh wait... that sucks...
P.S. -- Could you look any more like a model in that second picture?
I like the perm. It looks really good, but you could never not look good. We got your Christmas card today!! I love it. Thank you for thinking of us :)
You know Pierce is going to hate you when he gets older and realizes you sent out a card with his butt on it haha
