June iPhone dume - take 1

These are always so much fun for me... dumping pics... here's a little look into what we were up to in June...

Mommy and Daddy had a full body health screening (having been in this business before I was fascinate on so many levels)... it was amazing and very thorough... and I even got to wear cute little Asian flared pink scrubs.

A common morning greeting.. finding my boys bright eyed and ready to go together in Asher's bed.

Asher has really started to enjoy his little sun room... he is free to roam and play and recently realized he can stand on his knees and see the world.

This was an art piece that P brought home from school.  I just love the octopus, green beans, purple rice and crickets... does that not sound good or what?

A little outing with Esther.. and the store had a very convenient changing pad we could get both kids done at the same time.

Another art project by P...

Pierce drew me this picture and on his own he went and got this stand and placed it right by my bed... I love dinosaurs with hearts... so sweet.

Some work from P's school...showing items that are good for the environment and items that are not... check out that big bad oil boat at the top... OOPPSS

Just plain cute...

Daddy's day came and went so quickly and we got to celebrate late bc daddy was in the states... but here is something that P made for B at church.

Someone got a hold of mommy's ice cream bar...

And that is some good Korean hair... don't you think?

There is a lot more to come... don't worry.

Some April fun...

Here are some random shots of some fun in April (when I did not have my big camera)...

Pierce working hard at something... check out the video at the end.  Pierce is still drawing up a storm but now with a new level... he provides step by step directions... but this picture is great bc proof that when Pierce concentrates he sticks out his tongue.

A picture taken by Pierce as he is in bed with Asher.

We had Hope with us a lot this month... Her baby sister was born so she got to have a 4 day sleepover with us.

Wonder where they get it????

We also got to attend our first Korean Wedding... all dressed up.

My man...

I happened to look back and this is what I saw so I snuck and picture.... sweet moment between two brothers...

Pierce got a lot of great presents for Easter this year... and one of his favorites was a sweet note from his Grandpa and some fun plants.

And of course we got to do a lot more Hashes...

Drawing from YouTube!

Pierce loves the computer, loves drawing, loves anything military and loves being in Tita's room (I think bc it is so small and cozy)... so put those all together and you get... drawing military stuff from YouTube in Tita's Room.

Get a piece of paper and a pencil, go to YouTube and type Military drawings, and off you go.  Pierce will push play and then pause... he will then draw what they did and then push play and then pause and catch up... and on and on and on... he would do this for hours if I let him...

Here are some pics of our little artist.

First finished product... a British Spitfire.

A Military Helicopter and a Military Truck.

Here are some pics of the tanks that he had fun drawing... the one that is turned on its side I finished the wheels bc Pierce was getting frustrated... but he did everything else... oh yeah I did the shading too... but the other two tanks Pierce did 100%.

We have to go to YouTube at least once a day and draw something... we have learned this is Pierce's release... he comes home from school and just wants to draw... if we go out to dinner and he gets restless we give him a crayon and paper and off he goes...

Art Boot Camp!

For a couple of months now Pierce has been drawing a lot and has not stopped so when the summer started we knew there was one place that would get some of our time... Art Boot Camp... Pierce loved it.
He went for three days straight and learned all about making art with the focus on Underwater Ocean.  He came home with alot of goodies but the best is a huge canvas painting... his very first.  His teacher was great with him and every day I picked him up with a big smile on his face.

Here are some pics from his last day... with his canvas.

He came home the first day saying what he was doing but then added that he wanted a black water snake in his painting.... I told him he had to ask his teacher and I guess she said yes.

I was not sure that he would be able to sit still for 3 hours everyday and just paint so we talked about on day one that if he was a good boy all three days and his teacher told me great things about how he helped others, listened well, used his manners, etc... you get the picture... then he could get a reward which was this gummy snake that he has been wanting.  Everyday I picked him up his teacher would smile at me and go on and on about how INDEPENDENT he was and that he was the big brother of the class and helped everyone out.  So on Friday this is what he got.. it took him two days to eat all of it...

Drawing by Pierce

...

Back when Grandad and ViVi were here... Pierce drew them some pictures... of fire trucks and airplanes... 2 of his favorite things... These are his first "real" drawings... we were so proud I had to share..

These below are pics of a Fire truck... thanks to Grandad he enhanced one of them in case you can't see the fire truck... but the proud mama I am... I totally can see it... :-)

These 2 below are his rendition of an airplane... I just love this little man... these are keep sakes for sure... these were his first and his last as of yet... still try to get pics out of him now and nothing.... he just likes to scribble... but now we know he has it in him he just cares not too... go figure.
