Last year at this time...
Last year at this time we were in Texas getting loved on by family and friends... we sure do miss being home this Christmas. This video made me smile as our little man was happy to share his songs he had learned at school. We sang around the tree... with lots of laughter.

Home at H-Town...
Need to really catch up... so sorry for the lack of words... but words could never express how much we love being in Houston with our favorite people...
Pierce loves his Aunt JuJu... can you tell...

And we even put Uncle KW to work... he loved it...

We got to celebrate Pierce's birthday in every city we went to... Happy 6th bday buddy... where has time gone.
For Pierce's birth DAY... Daddy took him to Memorial City (becoming a tradition) to go ice skating... well needless to say Pierce does not get his skill (or lack of skill) on the ice from his daddy...
Now there was a lot of dancing... and you have got to check out the video to see Uncle KW and Pierce doing "gangnam style"... a must see... get ready to pee in your pants.
Even got an extra special touch of love from a friend I met in Singapore that was visiting her home in Texas for a bit and we happen to be in town at the same time... I love me some Cara time...

And thanks to Aunt JuJu... she watched the kids and let me go to Beth Moore's bible study in Houston on the opening night... I met a good friend of mine there and got some WORD... a very special night for me and one that still to this day has me "filled up"...

Hanging with the Carrs...
One of our favorite stops from Fort Worth to Houston... is Conroe where we get to see our friends the Carrs... They are great friends and we love seeing/hearing about all the new stuff in their family... houses, babies, jobs, friends, and more... always a quick visit but a good one. This time we got to stay with the grandparents and the boys got some lovin...
Here is Asher in a jumper for the first time... he loved it.
We always exchange Christmas... here the boys are having a good time playing with squinkies (I think that is what they are called... a huge hit)
I don't have many pics this time bc I was too busy talking and enjoying the company... I don't even have one picture of Brooklyn and Lisa... Guess we will have to go back.

Besties...
My best friend Shelly's family... they have grown in number and size... love them all like they are my own... their mom and dad are something special too. Our time together is way to short but we can always pick up where we left off, even if it was a year ago...
Fun times with the Kacsmaryk's...

Generations of Love...
I love and adore my Grandma... she is such a sweet sweet lady. She is the definition of strength, devotion and dependable. I really feel blessed that I got to introduce my children to Grandma (whom they call Great Mama)... Great Mama has 5 children, 9 grand children, tons of great grand children and even some great great grandchildren. God has blessed us with her on many levels... we love our little time we get with her when we are in town.
I was so thrilled to introduce her to Asher. And I love this picture bc in the background is Pierce's picture on the wall. I pray I get to hold my great grand children just like grandma someday.

Having fun at Great Mama's...

Getting to meet Aunt Liz and Uncle David... who just had their first grand baby so they are totally into the baby thing... so cute.

Love from ViVi and Grandad...
Houston to Dallas to Fort Worth... a whirl wind first week in Texas but so worth it... we are blessed with family... and they each sure do know how to show us love in their own special way...
ViVi and Grandad sure do know how to spoil us (especially Pierce). We arrived and the Christmas Tree was surrounded by presents... beautiful presents... Vivi always makes them too pretty to open... but we got passed it and got to "passin" the presents.
Guess who was our elf...

See aren't they so pretty... my mom is so talented... she really has an eye for decor and making things so pretty.
Asher with his... this year I told ViVi and GD that it looked like there were a lot more presents under the tree... growing up as an only child I got an eye for number of presents... but they responded with "well yes we got one more person to buy for"... oh yeah... Asher's first Christmas with ViVi and Grandad... let the spoiling begin.
And just when Christmas was opened and played with... it was birthday time. Pierce had to go on a treasure hunt to find his present.
So much fun.. we all were worn out... I love this picture bc this is how we end up most evenings... kids in bed and we find a comfy spot in the living room... and go to sleep...
This is a random picture of a picture that is in my room at my parents house... This is a picture of a group of girls from college that mean the world to me... many good memories with this gang... and so thankful that my mom leaves this picture in my room... makes me smile every time I see it... we have all grown up, gotten married, had children, had struggles, had triumphs, moved away, and more... but knowing we are all sisters in Christ we know that we will be together again someday. Love these girls.
