Boys Night...

The other weekend... there was a major BOYS NIGHT in our house... The Willerton Boys (Caleb and Levi) came over for some fun...This was Pierce's first sleep over where they all stayed in one room. We were not sure how it would go but it was great and they all had a great time. This is what I found in the morning... Levi and Pierce was woken up by Caleb who was ready to play... and these two did not want to get up...

Soon they made their way to the living room for some "toons".... There is nothing better than Sunday morning cartoons.

They remember how much fun they had with their blankets lying next to each other last night we had to do it again in the morning.

Boys are dressed in brown and ready for church...

They all wanted "Mohawks" for church... here they are all dressed and ready to go...

What a great night and morning... I am sure this was the first of many.

Welcome to Rawa Island...

Welcome to Rawa Island... all you have to do to get there from Singapore.. is get in a car drive for about 2 hours to Malaysia... hope on ferry for about 45 min and then you pull up to this... a beautiful very small island with one small resort... it is a perfect get away. In Feb we had the opportunity to join our good friends Jamie, Jason, Isaac (Pierce's classmate), Jackson and Miles Hoffnagle.



The drive through Malaysia was easy and entertaining... we were hoping that Pierce would take a nap but how could you with stuff like this on the side of the road and the occasional monkey that was just hanging out.

Once at the ferry terminal... we were all counting the minutes until we got off the boat... we were all a little nervous about what boat we were getting on.

One nice big boat.. yippee we are excited now..

We are here... time for some fun in the sun.

This was usually us every morning on our vacation... me with my chai tea in hand... and cuddled with my buddy in a hammock.

Rawa Island Con't...playing, jumping and walking!

We just loved this little Island... I never thought that when it came to vacation time that we would wind up on another small island... but we did and we had a great time playing, jumping and a little walking... Just check out that beach...

The kids had a great time playing on the dock.

Off to the beach for some playtime.

Isaac and Pierce were good chillers in the water... that is what they did just chilled... they would have all kinds of conversations out there... not sure what about bc us adults could not hear them... but their mouths were moving...

The boys even found some rocks to climb on...

And caves... every boys dream vacation...

OK... back to the docks we go... we tried all day the first day to get Pierce to jump off the dock... but he took one whole day to come around... wait and see...Him and Isaac would first jump off the short deck... see below...

It wasn't long until this... my two boys... love it...

Just one beautiful island...

We had heard they were building some new cabins around the island so we took a little walk...

Wow... can we come back when they are ready... nice huh?

Not so sure about this path... is it safe??? Reminds me of Maui.

Back just in time for some relaxation before dinner...

Here is a shot of the food hall... where breakfast, lunch and dinner took place. Upstairs was the game room and movie room... they even played American Idol on Thursday and Friday.

After dinner one night we had a marshmallow war.... who could catch the most marshmallows...

We kept some leftovers for breakfast... Every morning Pierce would wake up he would go to the porch, watch people walk by and eat marshmallows....who wouldn't love this vacation???

Fun at the beach in Rawa Island!

The beach at Rawa Island was magnificent... nice sand, no seaweed and clear/clean water... the boys had a blast playing and surfing...

This will "crack" you up...
