You know how hard it is for me to cut beautiful thick hair (especially on Pierce) but Asher has yet to get the beautiful thick hair (although I think it is coming)... so cutting Asher's hair was easy for me and it so needed it. We were all due for a haircut so we went to ViVi's and Grandad's guy... we had our own little room and we all took turns... Pierce and I walked out of there with not that big of a change but for Asher he looked like a little dude afterwards.

Happy Dad's Day...
Happy Dad's Day... to one of the best Dad's in the world... we love you Daddy.
We did not get to spend Dad's day with dad but we sure did celebrate like he was here in Korea... we had craft day in the morning to make him a sign for when he returns and we thought long and hard on what daddy would want from us... and Pierce and I came up with a "HAIR CUT". So we headed out the door to do some errands for daddy and then to get a hair cut (which daddy has wanted Pierce's hair cut for some time). Pierce knew this haircut was for daddy and he was so good. He sat in the chair so still and patient and just kept smiling. He was so proud to be giving something to daddy that he wanted. Everyone in the shop was telling him how cute he was and smiling at him... he was on cloud nine. I typed in the google translator to keep long on top and trim the back and the sides... so Pierce got a traditional Korean haircut... I see this same "do" all over the streets of Korea...
Here is our craft that we made for Daddy... we showed it to him on Skype that day. Pierce wanted to draw a yacht (that him and daddy were on) and all the sea creatures you could think of below... we even had to get out a under the sea encyclopedia to make sure we drew all the creatures.
Here Pierce is dressed in his shirt he made last year for daddy... with his new haircut and sign... we love you daddy and are so thankful for you.

Time with Tita...
Tita has been gone now for almost 3 weeks... she left to make a trip home to the Philippines to see her friends and family. We are excited about her arrival back to Singapore this weekend and we talk about how much we miss her all the time. Before she left she wanted to spend some quality time with Pierce so they went to the Science Center... you can tell in the pics below just one of the reasons why Pierce loves her so... bc they always have so much fun together.

The "new do" for 2011...
well here is the 2010 hair-do...
but while in Singapore it usually looked like this bc it was so hot (not a great pic sorry).
So in hopes for a new look... I took about 5 min. online and found a pic of a girl that I liked (seemed to have the same kind of hair type)... took it to a brand new salon (never been before) and totally put my hair in their hands (literally)... and this is what happened...

Very short... and DARK low lights all over... I think I am becoming more Asian what do you think... I am trying to blend in and look as good as they do... :-)

An estrogen night and a need for change..
There are two parts to this blog... so here we go... the estrogen night... Jessica took care of me when Blake was out of town so we invited her over for dinner when her husband was out of town... we started the night with Glee, had Mexican food, then watched American Idol and then "the story of the second part of this blog"... the change... Late last year I got highlights for the low low price of $350 here in Singapore... got some more (much cheaper) back in the states and after 2 rounds my hair was getting blonde... which I did not care for... I mean I like blonde's but just not on me... and while talking with my mom she had a valid point... why go Blonde unless you "have too (to cover up the gray)... and it was just so expensive...
I talked with Blake and asked him what color he liked on me and he said he liked my hair color when we first meet... so I looked back at the pictures and it was dark brown... I guess living on the equator already had lightened it up some... so last week I went to the store and bought NATURAL BROWN... when Jess was over I asked her to dye my hair... we had fun... thanks Jess for another great night of memories.
Here is Blake and I's first ever picture together while dating... see how dark my hair is...
Here was my hair color a couple of weeks ago...
And here is Estrogen Night... Jess looks like a pro...
And here is Estrogen Night... Jess looks like a pro...
Looks pretty black.. I thought the bottle said Natural Brown.
Waiting... waiting... waiting...
Jess had to leave before I washed it out I think she was a little nervous how it would turn out... but I love it and so does Blake... taking some use too but I think looks better with my skin tone... and there are a handful of "HONEST" people in my life... like ones that don't have a filter (I will leave out their names but you know who you are :-)).... and 2 of them said they liked it better and one of them without me saying anything said "You changed your hair"... and that is all she said... so the jury is still out.. what do you think?

What is it about haircuts...
What is it about haircuts that make you look older... Pierce goes from baby to boy during a 10 min. haircut...
He does not look very happy but he actually loves to sit in this chair and watch Thomas... he is the best child when it comes to getting his haircut.

Little Gym and Hair Cut (in FTW)!
Organized playtime is way overrated for my 2 year old... does anyone else feel this way? While in FTW my mom and I took Pierce to the "Little Gym" and wow... was I tired after it was over... Pierce did Gymboree when he was an infant but this whole thing where a teacher is singing baby songs and asks all the mothers to grab their little ones to sit on the happy wall for a minute while she gets this huge parachute rainbow thing out and does not want any children running around for their safety... is for the birds... and then we are suppose to set our children on a balance beam (about 5 children) and have them sit there and play nice and then hang them up side down for a "wheelbarrow" stance... you have got to be kidding... my son only wanted to run around the entire time... most of the kids were younger than him but there was one boy about 2.5 years of age that just ran around with him... they had a good time but I was breaking a sweat trying to keep up with him and try to act like Pierce never acted this way (but that was fake... who am I kidding he always acts like this).... My mom had a good time watching the show and got a bunch of pictures.... enjoy.
Chasing... come back here... see all the other kids sitting on the parachute... my kid running crazy.

This was the best part... he loved turning upside down on the uneven bars.
For the record this was the only time that I got him to sit down (on my legs while bouncing him up and down)... we even had to sit in time out during the 45 minute "organized play time".... does anyone else have them problems?
