Random pics of Skiing... Feb 2014

Here are some more random pics of our trip to Pyeong Chang Ski Resort in Feb. 2014.  Daddy was all healed up from the last trip so he got a lot more time skiing and even got to ski some with Pierce on the big run.  Pierce had a fabulous time and I think Daddy and Pierce will be doing this together for many many years to come.

Above were the roads in PyeongChang and we are so thankful to get out of those kids of conditions at the end of the trip....but little did we know what was waiting for us back in Ulsan (way South)... the picture below is of a park near our home... Wow.

Videos of Pierce skiing.. Feb 2014

Here are some of the videos that Pierce's ski instructor took of him while learning how to ski.  This was Pierce's second trip to ski and we had the same instructor as last time so they hit the road running skiing and learning.  Pierce this trip really worked on how to turn and how to use his body to help in turn.  There are moments in these videos, as a mom, I do not like but it seems seconds before could have run over my boy but so thankful that the instructor caught all these moments, especially the one where Pierce buries himself into the side of mountain and yells "Can I have some Help".

We wanted snow... and we got it. Skiing in Feb 2014

In Feb we went on another ski trip with friends... same place Pyeong Chang but with a much smaller group.  We had been watching the forecast a few days before we left and it always said snow but we had no idea it would be so much when we got there.  Look at all this snow.  The kids (including us adults... for some reason snow makes everyone a kid) had so much fun.
Every morning the guys had to shovel our way out of the driveway... look at all that snow and that just happened over night.

Hard to see it here... but while we were here my grandparents, Granny and PawPaw Pierce celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary so we wrote it in the snow and sent them a picture.

In the back of our apartment there is a deck and one morning Blake took the kids to the back of the deck and tried to get them to walk to me through the snow... it was so deep they did not get very far.

This is the view from our bed every morning... looks cold right?

Poor guys shoveling us out every morning but they never complained and they were fast (bc this is what was keeping them from the slopes... so they worked in overdrive).

Last day... there had to be a snow fight...

More pics of the slopes coming up.

Vday... Feb 2014

For Valentines day this year we went to a party at the clubhouse with all our expat friends.  The clubhouse committee always does a wonderful job making these events so much fun for the kids and adults.

After all the craft fun... someone turned on the music... These Denton boys were made to dance.

This is some really TERRIBLE hat hair... poor kid... but I could not stop him long enough to fix his hair.

A friend of mine captured the moment I had to take Asher off the dance floor... it was getting a little congested and it was time to go home.

We even got a fun little care package from Juju and KW... we felt the love this vday for sure.

Aren't these the cutest things you have ever seen... From Houston to Ulsan...

This year we had a valentines day breakfast full of red and pink and so much love.
