Hanging in FTW... more friends and family!

I love FTW for many reasons... I don't have enough time to mention them all but this family is one of the reasons.  My best friend from High School and her sweet family... see all our sweet children together... make my heart so happy.

Another thing we love about FTW is my favorite snow cone stand... and my favorite flavor, Tigers Blood... yummy

 

Another favorite... time wtih ViVi and Grandad... they have so much love, many toys, and they watch the kids for me when I run errands (shopping and a trip to TAMU)... we just love our people.  Another post to come about a great 1st bday party by ViVi and Grandad.

One of Pierce's favorite thing... and something he talks about for weeks before we go to Texas... is fishing with Grandad... 

This picture is one that Blake wanted me to capture (and so glad that he did)... we were leaving FTW and headed back to Houston and we look back and Pierce has his Starbucks, book and legs crossed.... how old is this kid?

 

Besties...

My best friend Shelly's family... they have grown in number and size... love them all like they are my own... their mom and dad are something special too.  Our time together is way to short but we can always pick up where we left off, even if it was a year ago...

The newest addition... Asher and Abby are a month apart... wish we were closer in distance... would be fun.

 

One last night with Shelly and her kids...

My time with Shelly is always memorable and way to short... just love that woman and her children to pieces (and her husband is pretty cool too :-))... well our time with them has come to a close... at least until next time... if you have been watching my blog for at least a year now you know one of our favorite spots together is Freebirds... last year Regan wasn't here so this year we tried to get all 3 of them to look at the camera... but it did not work... yum yum Freebirds.

After dinner we headed to Little Gym with Avery... we got to go in for free and experience the fun... oh what fun we had...

Parachute time is always a blast.

First one to the do the flip like a champ was Reagan... good job.

Next up is the show off... graceful and everything... Avery.

And then there was Pierce... lets just say this is not his favorite thing to do... we will have to work on that...

I want to spend time to talk about two sweet friends today...

Shelly... where to even begin... my mad adoration for you started in High School and every year it gets better (not sure how I can more and more... but you are so easy to love)... you have been my strength, my ear, my shoulder, my challenger :-), my mentor, my....... I could keep going on and on... and if you know Shelly, this is no new news to you... you know how loving she is... the funny thing about Shelly is... that there are about 500 people in the world that would call Shelly their best friend... but if you ask Shelly who her best friends are... she would probably have a list of 3 people... that is just how caring Shelly is... Love you girl...

Yet again she has blessed me... I got another care package from her today... even with 2 small children at home she continues to love me over the miles... thank you sweet friend... you are my top dog...

I am digging hats right now and have been looking for this white one forever... and yes Shelly found it... I have also been searching for the "Life of Pi" book and she found it... and can I just say that other than adoring Shelly I absolutely adore Twizzlers... love them... and I got three packs... eating them as I speak.

I hope the pic below cracks you up... bc Shelly could have really just sent a box with all the wrappings... all these red circles just brought tears to my eyes... oh how I miss my Target... oh how I miss my target... I will treasure each one of these bags... and by the look of it they will last me a while... thank you Shelly... you could have sent cushion in the form of a wal-mart bag... but you knew better... I love you for the little things like this...


Next my sweet friend Jordan. Oh how we have only really known each other a short time before I left Houston but I adore you... your smile is addictive, your trendy clothes make me jealous :-), your sweet family is precious and your love for others is humbling... thank you for thinking of us.

Pierce's birthday was in Jan. and we got to celebrate it again in August when we got a present from the Maedgen Family. We love it and Pierce uses it everyday. Thank You.

Since Pierce is potty training (or should I say using the potty now) he likes to use a stool and he has to use this stool in mommies bathroom... so cute...

Gig'em Aggies... and I know how much this pained Jordan to paint this since she went to UT... but there is a hidden little 'something' underneath... can you see it? I think I am going to try to scratch it off... Just Kidding.... Love you Jordan.

Lil' Ray Jay is home...

Thank you for praying... lil' Reagan Joseph is home with mommy, daddy and sister Avery, happy and healthy.

Update on Reagan Kacsmaryk!

Go here to read the story of the birth of our sweet little Reagan! Please pray for our little Ray Jay... we need his lungs to gain strength so he can go home and be with his family.

I told Shelly today that it would not be the "Kacsmaryk way" if Reagan's birth did not add another pierce to their amazing testimony.... well he did and still is! We love you little man!

Happy St. Patty's Day, Happy Birthday Shelly and Welcome to our lives lil' Ray Jay!

Alot is going on today:

1. Happy St. Patrick's Day... wear your green... I forgot today at a MOPS meeting and missed out on a prize... bummer.

2. Happy Birthday Shelly - You are the sweetest friend ever and someone that is my hero daily... I love you dearly and wish I could hug your neck today...

3. The birth of Regan Joseph Kacsmaryk - Most of you know my best friend Shelly and her amazing story of being a wonderful mother and friend. So I humbly ask that you pray for her today... not only am I thankful for her birth 31 years ago today (thank you Rodney and Barbara) but she has graciously asked to share her birthday with her first son.

Reagan Joseph Kacsmaryk will be born today (his sonogram picture above was taken in Dec).

Shelly's first child Tyndale Grace is in Heaven with our Lord, her second child is Avery (which you have seen lots of pics of) and Regan will be #3. I do believe that our sweet little Tyndale is looking down from heaven rejoicing that her baby brother is soon to enter this world and get loved on by many.

Please pray for a safe delivery today for mom and baby for they are to start the induction process around 6am today. Shelly and Matt had their second baby Avery almost a year and half ago with zero complications and we are praying the same for baby Reagan Joseph.

See you soon little buddy... I love you so much already.

Time with BF, college friend reunion and Scrapbooking - does it get any better than that?

Time with my BF Shelly, college friend reunion and Scrapbooking - does it get any better than that? I DON'T THINK SO... did I forget to say a weekend with no kids... yes the best weekend ever.

Altough we all missed our kids and hubbies on V-day we made it up with some good fellowship, catch-up and getting our scrap on. There will be some pics later of my layouts but I just wanted to give a shout out to my scrap girls... you are the bomb and I had the best time ever.

Shelly, Teresa and I went on a scrapbook retreat this past weekend in McKinney, TX at Creative Cottage and we found out about a week before we left that we were going to get to see some of our college friends from the AFC and dorm neighbors... Lisa and Cara... it was so good to catch up with them and looking forward to next year (:-)).
