Disney on Ice...

...

Disney on Ice was in town... and as soon as we found out that Buzz Light Year and The Pirates of the Caribbean were going to make an appearance... we had to go...

Here is our little man right before the show... thanks to Kaelan he was sporting this cool shirt...

Ok... I remember buying some good tickets... but I don't remember buying the tickets that said... "You can sit in Mickey's lap tickets"... or the ones that said "You will be so close that when they sing you might be lucky enough to fill them spit on you"... we were close... and it was awesome...don't tell dad how much the tickets were ok honey... that was me talking with Pierce... HE HE HE

Goofy was my favorite...

This is the only picture I got of Pierce... bc my camera does this funny thing where it stops working... says something about the memory card not working... this has happened twice... once seeing the Snow Monkeys and the other one here at Disney on Ice... and as I think about it... it stopped working when the monkeys came out here at the show... maybe my camera does not like monkeys...

This crocodile was pretty cool... there was a guy inside acting like he was swimming which made the croc glide across the ice....

Here are those monkeys that broke my camera.... they are a bit scary...

I think he was looking right at us...

Can you imagine who this is.... one of the main reasons why we were there...

You got it... the one and only Buzz Lightyear.

It was a great show and Pierce enjoyed every minute of the 2 hour show... the end was the best but I was not able to capture it with my broken camera... and no pics of Pierce afterwards picking out his souvenir... the Pirates of the Caribbean Sword...
Something neat that Pierce kept saying... was "Mickey can skate just like daddy".. "Buzz can skate just like daddy"... you get the picture but all the characters could skate just like daddy.... daddy is a great ice skater bc he played hockey...

Little guy had a bad week...

...

Our little guy had a bad week last week... he woke up on Sunday so happy... had breakfast and then carried his metal spoon around... Violet was over and she likes to carry a spoon so Pierce was carrying his spoon... but Pierce decided to fall and shove the metal spoon up his nose... and you can imagine what was next... lots of tears... lots of blood and Violet trying to help him... which was so sweet... we finally got Pierce to calm down and the nose to stop bleeding... and pose for the below picture of course... we have to capture every moment in this house... :-)
Well that was just the beginning... his nose got better but that night he seemed really hot so we checked his temp and it was high... we gave him some meds and put him to bed... he woke the next morning... this went on for 3 days until he got a 103.5 temp and I took him to the doctor... he said it was the flu and sent us home (not to concerned)... we slept some more... we did alot of that these 3 days (the pictures will show you how he would lie on the couch for days)... the fourth day he did not have a temp but had a small rash on his tummy... that was the last symptom and he was back in full swing on Thursday.... we missed our little guy but it sure was nice to cuddle with him for 3 days..

Club Street Date Night...

Date Night with my sweet hubby is always nice to just sit down with each other (with no other distractions) and catch up over the usually busy week... but it is even more special when we find a new place to chill out... and we did... I have heard alot about Club Street since we got here in Singapore and finally someone at Blake's work put another bug in his ear and off we went... We had a great time... the best terrace bar is found on Club Street called the Screening Room.

Here is our pic from the night from the top of the Screening Room.
We always leave Pierce in good hands with some good food... pizza yum yum... Although he would much rather eat Sushi... Pizza will have to do... this was him when we were leaving.... he loves hanging with Cena.

And here are some pics of Club Street... loaded with restaurants, bars and some really cute shops... can't wait to go back.

I tend to lag behind checking out menu's and shopping in the windows so Blake is always waiting on me... I finally got a picture of his waiting on me.. he was not ready for the shot but this is the look I get alot when I am taking to long....:-)

I just love these shop houses... and the arches look like they will go on forever right?

The Screening Room has a lot to offer... an outdoor top floor terrace, a restaurant, and a movie (screening) room.

Here is the view from the bar at the top of the place... pretty cool...

After drinks we headed to an Italian Restaurant that was ok... but way over priced... it was another great date night.

March Madness... Rock Style!

...

March Supper Club was so much fun at the Unruh's house... in lu of March Madness we had our own version... to find the best Rock Song of all time (or should I say our time)... Gillian and Jamey came up with the bracket of songs against one another... there were rock songs from the 70's, 80's, and 90's... who do you think won...

Here is our gang...

We were suppose to wear rock shirts but the Unruh's were the only ones who had them... go figure...

OK.. here are the brackets... and the first round of winners...sweet 16....who is going to win... if you are wondering how this worked... we would listen to both of the songs that were up against each other and then we would vote... sometimes it was a no brainer and then at times we needed a tie breaker (that is where the quarter came into play)....never knew there were that many GREAT rock songs... but we only really scratched the surface.

Our referee... Jamey... he's a big Led Zeppelin fan... he was the only one.

Down to the final four... the Willerton's had to leave but kept on going...

A serious look from Blake... it is close....

We girls aren't so stressed... we have a good feeling who will win...

The Championship Game was between Aerosmith 'Dream On' and Def Leppard "Pour some Sugar on Me'... who would you want to win...

Aerosmith it was... we actually had to do a tie breaker (quarter) here to get this one... but it was fair... I was in favor of 'PSSOM' but I like 'Dream On' too... great game Unruh's... looking forward to the next one.
