If we weren't skiing we were eating...

I can't tell you the last time I was at McDonald's but it was one of the first stops when we got to Hakuba... the gang was starving and the golden arches were screaming at us.... so we had to go... our first restaurant in Hakuba...

Then one night the adults went to a sushi bar... that came highly recommended... and yum yum it was... the best tuna I have EVER had... oh I want to go back.

Check out that role... wow... every kind of fish you could imagine...

They have a tradition at the restaurant that their customers sign these boards/walls and they display them... we girls had one and the boys had one...

Our said: "Best Sushi in the world... cam we take you home to Singapore! ~ The 3 American Girls... Jessica, Gillian and Camille (with pics of us of course).

The boys during the course of the dinner requested "whale sperm" from the chef (and yes to eat)... but due to the language barrier we could not get anyone in the entire restaurant to understand what we were saying... so the boys just got louder and louder and there were a few English speaking waitress' and other customers that were snickering at us... but still the chef had no idea what we were saying... so a fellow co-worker went and got an electronic translator and we typed in the word "whale sperm" and then handed it to the chef... and when his eyes got really big we knew he knew what we were saying and all he said was "NO NO NO"... while shacking his finger... he he he

The boys had written: "We loved the food and we loved the chef...be sure to sit at the bar. Next Year we return for the one missing item (with a whale picture). Jamey, Blake and Travis."

These two ordered a set menu and one item was the fish roe (and they were huge) the boys said they would not eat it.. but they did... we have proof.

Some great food... even Mickey D's hit the spot...
