Texas A&M Muster 2011!

Muster in Singapore gets bigger and bigger every year... if you would like to read more about MUSTER and what it means to us AGGIES... go here or here.

This year TAMU Muster in Singapore was held at Brewerks and this was Pierce's first year to come. This is a special night for all aggies (including spouses) were we honor the fallen aggies of all generations. Once an aggie you can guarantee that when you die you will be honored and celebrated.

At roll call this year I heard a familiar name and went immediately to ask the person that said here for her... and found out that a co-worker of mine from college wife had died in Feb., leaving behind two small children. Since then I have been re-connected with the family and they are now in our prayers... it is amazing no matter where you go or how long you are away from AggieLand we are always connected.

Here is our group shot this year...

Surf Day at ICS!

Surf and Turf day at ICS was a much anticipated day.... Pierce would come home for weeks telling me the count down for this day... so when his teacher asked for volunteers to help out on this day I had to sign up... I did not want to miss out... and it was worth it.

Here are all the kids lined up before they got dressed to get wet...

Dressed for water play... and lets get started. JK, K and 1st grade split up in groups (all grades mixed) and they went around to several different relays that included lots of water... and there was a slight (BIG) chance that you would get wet... oh how much fun.

The relay below you had to carry a water balloon using your back only...

One happy boy...

Playing Duck, Duck Splash...

Pass the bag back and fill up the bucket (the bag has wholes in it)

Look how wet all the teachers got... what a fun day.

Pierce's first royal wedding...

Some of our great friends here (the cowdy's from England) had a Royal Wedding Party and we were honored we American's were inivited for the special occassion... so special that some of them stood when the "save the queen" song was sung... it was a great night with friends and a first for our whole family. We can officially say we had never seen a royal wedding.... now we have and what a celebration.

The moment we have all been waiting for... what does she look like and then of course we had to wait for the kiss (hours later).

We were all sporting the red and white...

The girls were all about watching the entire thing... especially anything that had to do with Kate... however this is what the boys were doing... playing in the bedrooms... I am sure shooting something...

So proud that his friend is from England...

Thank you Cowdy's for another great night...and our first Royal Wedding Celebration...

4 stars... 2 more to go.

Pierce got his 4 stars at Aqua Ducks last month... and he has 2 more to earn until he graduates.
4 stars means that he can:
1. Jump and swim 5 metres to instructor
2. Swim to wall 5 metres (breaststroke arms)
3. Freestyle for 5 metres
4. Able to lie on back unassisted for 3 seconds (in water)
5. Jump into water, retrieve toy, swim and return to wall
6. Mushroom float for 5 to 7 seconds (head under water).

Here are a couple of pics of him with his friends at the award day... so proud.

Often Coach Dave will show them what is next and then ask "who wants to try it"... here are Pierce and his friends raising their hand.

After they received their stars... they hold a laminated certificate in their hands go underwater and take an underwater picture with their certificate... here is Pierce going under water and smiling for the camera.

His coaches... Annabelle and Dave.

We are still in lessons this summer trying to earn our next star... so good so far...

Singapore Airforce Air Show...

A couple of weekend ago we saw a friend post the "Singapore Airforce Air Show was amazing" on facebook and we had to check it out... we went the next day and oh what a little boy's heaven. So much fun. Daddy was off parking the car for an hour and half so Lesley, Julie and I and the boys (Alex and Pierce) were off to check out the show... we ran to the front and got there just in time. These were two happy boys... and the moms on the bottom we already hot and tired and we just got there...

Pierce was a little concerned of the sound at first (hence his facial expression) but after the show was over we were off to take a closer look at all the jets, helicopters and tanks...

Pierce is now saying he wants to be these guys for halloween...

Daddy made it... yeah..

We did not get to go in every plane as we wished... the lines were hours long to get inside... so these pics will have to do...

This one we waited for... Pierce wanted to shoot a maching gun badly...look he even got the one eye look.

Look at all those planes and people...

They even had a carnival tent for the kids to play games... here we are on our way.

Games for everyone... the boys had a blast.

Then we saw another show about how they attach missiles to a jet.

Two happy boys that never want to leave...

Can you hear me... "It is time to leave"

Another great adventure with JuJu and the Cowdy's...
