Show me the money...

Blake and I got to do another FIRST.... the horse races. Blake was invited to the races from a vendor through his company and we were excited to say yes... to check it out. We are not ones you would call gamblers but when we found out that we got "free" money (coupons) to gamble... we jumped in on the fun... After everything was said and done... we walked about with and extra $50 SGD dollars...

Blake was so busy chatting he let me do all the picking... and this is a picture of my winning horse... forgot her name but she was fast.

Valerie bet on the same horse and we both won...

Now here is the big winner Stephen... you can add up all these bills and see how much he won.. out of 100+ people at this vendor party he was the big winner...

Another fun night out... doing a first.

Formula 1 with Daughtry...

It gets better and better... every year we get to do a little something extra and have better seats at the Formula One. This year American Idol was represented with both Daughtry and Adam Lambert giving concerts for the guest of the Formula 1.

We never got to see Adam (bc it was too late for me) but daughtry was great... we also enjoyed the cars...

This year we got to meet up with Jamey and Gillian.

We had to walk forever to get to our seats this year... wow wee... but we got to see a lot along the way.

Our seats were right after the pit and before a tricky turn... so this year we got to see a lot of the car... the slowest speed but more action for sure.

Blake and I went on Saturday night but Friday night Daddy got to take Pierce... oh boy what fun these two had. We got Pierce these special head phones bc of how loud the cars are... he loved wearing them.

Look how happy this kid is... do you think he likes the cars.

Until next year...

A better finish...

Pierce's finish at school last week was better than the start... he would wake up in the morning and say I want to go to "eton's house"... and then he would talk about painting, playing out side and playing with dinosaurs.

Here Pierce is walking to the bus stop where we pick up a taxi to go to school.
We made it... we are here to learn.

Meet Miss. Wati his teacher and a school mate of his... we love Miss Wati already and that sweet smile lets me know she will take good care of Pierce while he is there.

On Thursday they celebrated Children's day and were to bring a snack for the kids.... Pierce and I made Strawberry Mice hungry for some cheese. They were a hit and so easy to make.

We are so proud of our little big boy.

Pierce's girlfriend turns Three!

Can you believe sweet Violet turned 3... yes Pierce loves the younger ladies... she had a party at the Botanical Gardens which was perfect to let the kids play games outside, fly kites and use their scooters. I did not get alot of pics bc we got their late (long story) and then we had to eat and then it started to rain, and on and on... but enjoy what we got.

Violet gave kites to all her friends who came the party and Pierce loved flying his.... running back and forth... back and forth.

happy birthday sweet violet.

Oh to be a Cosmo...

We have officially started soccer... and they are called the Cosmo's. Blake and I both started soccer at 3 so we thought it was time for Pierce to join in the fun... it is a lot different from the states not so much free time ( i remember just running up and down the fields with our parents running beside us).

Here at this one in Singapore the parents are asked to sit up stairs in bleachers and the children are required to do drills and wait their turn for 1 hour and 10 min and the last 20 minutes they get to scrimmage. As you can imagine with 500+ kids in one gymnasium (the fields were wet) our first day did not go off very well. I will bare you the details but Pierce was very distracted by the older kids and did not want to listen to his coach. BOOOOOO

We are going to try again this coming weekend... hope it goes better...

I did not get to take that many pics since I was trying to get my son to stay with his group (I could not sit in the bleachers). But I had to share all the ones I got... at the end you will see the pics of the scrimmage and he was REALLY enjoying himself but not so much during the instruction and listening time...

Cosmo's we are...
