What was Pierce doing...

DISCLAIMER: The pictures you are about to see were taken over 6 months ago... so please be warned that Pierce looks a lot different now... he did not shrink and his hair did not grow this long over night... :-)

So what was Pierce doing while mom and dad were in Maui... he had his own fun with ViVi and Grandad... not sure who had more fun.
To celebrate mom and dad in Maui... Pierce got all dressed up and sent us pics while we were gone...



He even got a fun day at the wet park...

Now that is some good grand parenting... go go go until they pass out.

Pierce loved spending all this time with ViVi and Grandad... they even let him catch frogs.

And eat cool whip in an ice cream cone (almost every night).

Forget the dinning room table... we are eating outside...

Got to catch more bugs and frogs...

And ViVi took him and friend to the museum... oh what fun.

Thank you ViVi and Grandad for watching PD while the parents were playing... when can we do it again... we are all ready :-)... Love you guys.

Day 6 of Maui... Departure!

The last day... we are ready to get home to our babies.... but we sure will miss this place... the morning was spent right here looking at this...

We have a tradition that I am sure you know about if you have been reading the blog awhile I always take a pic on the beach doing a cart wheel.... here we are in Maui.... see you next time...

Day 5 in Maui - Big Beach and Set Sail!

Day 5 we wanted to be at the beach... we read all about the best beaches and we decided on BIG BEACH for the waves... so off we went and what a day... this was Blake's favorite and boy did we all have fun. Here are a few pics of the beach and what the boys did versus what the girls did...

Look how clear that water was.... the boys were literally in the water for hours...

And we did this for hours... so fun.

After we played at the beach all morning and afternoon we had dinner on a sail boat... does it get any better... check out how windy it was... hair everywhere...

What another blessed night... God really has amazed us on this trip with His beautiful creations... He truly is a mighty God.

Day 4 of Maui - Snorkeling Laui!

Day 4 we started out at sea... going to snorkel Laui... one of the small islands near Maui... Here is Blake with our tour guide... forgot his name but a lovely funny man.

We were scheduled to leave at 7am and circle around the entire island of Laui... this was the only snorkeling trip that said they would go all the way around... but by the time we got on the water they realized the swells were to high (10 feet) that we could not go on one side so we did the tour that everyone else did... halfway and back.... can you tell by my hair just how windy it was...

By this time I was hoping for some calmer seas for snorkeling... there was no way I was going in this...

Here is one of the two resorts on Laui... looks pretty nice (Aunt JuJu and KW went to this resort recently... so sweet).

Bill Gates got married on this island and this was his honeymoon sweet... sweet...

Shark Fin Bay... we finally stop and snorkel here... wonder why they call it shark fin bay????

Our tour guide was so good he spotted this school of dolphins a mile away... the best part of the trip for me... amazing...

We got to do alot of snorkeling... saw some pretty cool things but my favorite was a huge turtle and Blake and Mark got to do a lave tube... swim under water in the lava tube and out the other side... I tried to do it but it hurt my ears so bad... was too deep for me.

Back at the small town... having their famous snow cones (shaved Ice)

We went back to the hotel changed and came back to the town for dinner... guess where...

But first I had to run out and take this picture of the setting sun... beautiful.
