Halloween at the Foreigners Compound...

This past weekend we had a lot of fun at the Halloween celebration held at the Foreigners Compound... Thanks to the PTA and all the teachers of the school... it was a great turnout and the kids had a blast.  We started the night getting dressed and waiting for daddy to come home so he could join in our fun, then headed to the school, knocked on some doors, got some candy, got some food, conquered the horror trail, had a little disco and then headed home... a great night for sure on our first Halloween in Ulsan.  Here are our little boys... one a navy seal and the other a football.
Off we go headed to the fun...

Once we arrived, Pierce had to meet up with all his friends and see what they were going to be... so fun seeing everyone dressed up... most of us had our costumes shipped from the states...

Even some of the adults dressed up... so fun... I just put on some orange and black...

Pierce with his teacher Mr. Milford.

Let the trick or treating begin

Candy at the guard house...

My man with his little football... aren't they cute.

Pierce with one of his best friend Jacob... the ninja.

Another good friend... Bodhi the half zombie half spider man.

We did not get any pics of the horror trail but it was a trail in the woods where the kids had to hold on to a rope and check out some pretty scary stuff... hanging legs, hanging spiders, put their hands in vomit/eyes, have things jump out at them, etc... Pierce was very brave and was first in line in his group... and we did not have nightmares afterwards... then off to the disco we went...

Stop to have a hot dog... so much fun...

A great night for sure...

Here are some fun decors that we had at the house... thanks to JuJu we had a scary tree with candy corn  glued to it...

We even left the hot glue strings to make webs... and Pierce hung the spiders..

Thanks to my parents for sending us the cards... and each one was so fitting for each member of the family... so cute...

Aggie Pride...

We are proud to be Aggies right about now... Blake has always represented our family well by watching the Aggies no matter what their season looks like even at 1/2/3 am (day games are middle of night games for us).  I would never say I was a 2%er but if the game is in the middle of the night I figure they will understand... I will just wake up in the morning kiss my husband (aggies kiss every time we score) and ask for details... and sometimes throw a little maroon on just for grins... but recently there have been a lot of night games (which is our morning) so we get to watch the games as a family...we have had fun cheering them on from South Korea all decked out in Maroon (thanks to our friends here in Korea that happen to be UT fans gave Asher his first A&M outfit)... we are now rated 16 and my husband is counting the minutes until our Saturday night... Gig'em Aggies!

Asher Milestones...

Asher is almost 3 months old and changing everyday... makes us happy to see him grow and learn new things but makes us sad at the same time to see him grow and learn new things... bitter sweet for sure... where does the time go.

Asher and all his coo's... finally got some recorded... he usually will talk all day when he is awake and then I get the phone out and he goes silent... and still got all the faces, even a new one that looks like an old man.

Rolling back to side... oh no we are not ready for movement... no no

He sure was... worth the wait!

Our little miracle and all his faces...

The first face is called "The Bird"... eyebrows turned in, chin out and lips puckered... He will sometimes does this on command... I say "give me the bird" and this is what you get... I just want to pinch that chin... don't you.

"I was worth the wait"... AMEN to that!

More happenings...

More and more weeks are just buzzing by and I feel like I never get the camera out... what is going on... I must do better... we do a lot of chilling out but we do a lot of go go go too... I am not sure where the days go.  The last few weeks have been a lot of fun especially since the weather is changing and getting chilly we enjoy being outside... It has been so nice Daddy took Pierce camping for the first time... just the boys with some other friends (their was one girl)... they had a blast but daddy did say it got pretty cold at night.  Here are some pics from their camera phone...
For some reason but the picture below looks like it was taken back in the 80's... love it...

Also with all the Aggie night games we actually get to watch them as a family during the day (this is the only way I watch the Aggie games... I will stand at the games but I just can not wake up at 1am to enjoy a win or a loss... but Blake wins the "true fan" award... he will wake up whenever to see them win or lose.  Here we are as a family all dressed up in Maroon and White... Gig'em Aggies!

2 weeks ago some girlfriends and I started a bible study... this is a huge answer to prayers... I really miss my girlfriends from Singapore and especially are times when we could dive into God's word and lean on each other in prayer... and I needed that here in Singapore... God is good and right now there are 7 of us that are meet once a week for fellowship, prayer and study... we are starting the Unglued study and can't wait to see what God has for us.

Also this past week... we were finally able to get the ball rolling in getting Asher a US passport (to be a US citizen)... we had to wait until the "traveling embassy" (aka temporary US embassy post) made its way to Busan.  We have met with the officer, filled out all the paperwork, sworn we were telling the truth, paid our money and now we wait... come on USA don't deny this sweet face... this was a picture from when I was trying to attempt a US Passport picture...

Pierce Happenings...

We have been having some fun this past month... we have gone to a lot of birthday parties and just parties in general... we might have a little baby but nothing stops this big brother from having a good time... These pics were snapped with my phone camera so not that great but with a baby in tow now I forget to grab the big camera... I always love seeing pierce play with his classmates and having a good time...
