Finally on the mountain...

Back talking about Japan... thanks for allowing the detour to our day to day life here in Singapore... well back to Japan.... after 4 days we finally made it to the slopes...and boy were we pumped... Blake was on the board again and I gave up the board after 8 failed attempts (8 total days)... people said that it was like riding a bike but it did take 2 fulls days to get the hang of it again... with a little wobble here and there... and a little more timid on how fast I like to go down the mountain... there were lots of times where it took the whole team to help me get down the mountain... our group failed to tell me that everyone was an expert skier except for me... they were the best bunch to ski with bc they were patient...

This was at the top of our first run... it took a little patience especially for the boys to stop and take this picture but I knew we would never be together again... after this shot we all skied about 2 runs, 2 girls had to run in and get the babies feed... the next day we split up some, one of us had an old injury and tried snowboarding instead to see if that would help and ended up breaking her arm, one was not feeling to well and stayed at the cabin and the other split up on the mountain... the next day some of us headed to see the snow monkeys (that will be in a later post), one of us stayed at the cabin with a broken wrist and 2 of us headed back to the slopes to go all day with no fear (Blake was one of these).

Gillian before her broken wrist...

While I was putting Pierce down to take his nap... the boys and Jessica headed up the mountain in the gondola.

Tomorrow... pics of our sledding adventure with the kids... what a great time on the Mountain..

What a great trip! Ouch for the broken bones! We went with the Borbidges last year and it was funny/interesting with 2 babies under 8 months!:)
