There is a 3 year old in our condo that is swimming on his own with no support and did not have lessons. His father pays tribute to the swimsuit that he had when he was younger... it is made in Europe and supposedly helps them learn to use their core to swim and float... not sure how it works but we found it and it was on sale so we had to get one... Dad and I picked one out with a helicopter on it so Pierce would want to wear it... here he is showing it off.

The first day he was so excited to wear it bc it had helicopters and as soon as he got in the pool he sunk and has not put it back on since then... guess we should try again? But he sure does look cute... look at those little legs...

I bet it will work! It probably just increases his buoyancy so swimming is easier.

Okay, SKINNY LEGS!!!! What a little man he is becoming! I love the suit. I am actually having a hard time thinking of what to do with Avery in the pool this year. The baby float thing you loaned me will probably be too small this year, but arm floaties probably won't do the job. Maybe I'll have to look into a chopper suit for Ave. :-) Love you and miss you!
