Reading to Great Grandma!

You will need to know the following for the picture to make sense:

When we returned to Singapore it was planned that Great Grandma (my grandma) and Vivi would join us back to Singapore. My Great Grandma really wanted to visit us and ViVi was going to accompany her so we could all be together (4 generations)... we were so excited but unfortunately Great GM had to have a pace maker put in 2 days before we were scheduled to leave. Although her surgery was perfect and she is healthy we still thought it was wise that she stay in Texas for a little while. We are bummed that they did not join us but we are hoping that they come later to see us. Before our scheduled trip home Pierce and I had talked alot about ViVi and Great GM joining us on the airplane and coming back home to Singapore with us. We still talk about it now that we are in Singapore that they are coming later (so he doesn't think I was lying to him)... we have a picture of Great GM on the end table in the living room.

OK... now for the explanation of the picture. Pierce was reading his favorite book about Spiders and I was in his room with him and I was reading another book and all of a sudden he got up and ran into the living room and ran back carrying this picture of him and Great GM. He wanted to read to Great GM (he even leaned the picture frame against his bed so that she could see the book)... it was the sweetest thing so I had to go get the camera and hope that he was still reading to her picture. He was and I was able to snap a shot... he has a crazy face like why are you taking a picture of me reading... hopefully he will understand later why I thought this was so sweet...

We do hope that Vivi and Great Grandma can come and visit us soon.... we miss you both.

Ok, that is pretty much the sweetest thing I've ever seen/heard! And what a precious picture! Alright, I guess maybe I should get my camera out and try to take a few pictures around here so I don't miss the chance to capture something this adorable.
