Sorry no Speechless Sunday!

Our first day with JUJU is over... I just hope the days don't slip by like the first one did... but let me first say thanks to JUJU for bringing alot of stuff (at my request) and ALL the other stuff (not really requested for but she knew we needed)... she is the best... and she is doing great at the Jet lag thing... she took a short nap yesterday, we all went to bed around 10pm and we all work up (JuJu stayed a sleep the whole time) around 8:30am... WOW...

The First day was great... Pierce was again a little shy when he first saw JuJu for the first time... I did not get to capture on camera like I did last year but it was some what the same... he soon warmed up and they are now holding hands everywhere they go and he is always very interested in what she is doing at all times... taking a shower, going to the bathroom, etc... :-)

We had Christmas in August... it was great... and we love everything... Pierce got alot of clothes...toys... and mommy and daddy got some stuff too...

So proud of his puzzle.

He got lots of underwear and could not decide which ones to wear so he put on like 10 different pairs just yesterday... it has been a great thing bc Pierce went out of the house to church today with no pull ups on and he wanted to wear his new underwear.... and we even went to lunch today with zero accidents... yeahhhh.

He was so proud of all his underwear... he took the camera from me and took the below picture.

Did I mention clothes... wow... we are all set... JuJu always buys the nicest church clothes for Pierce... and this year they even have his initial on them.

He was so proud of his hot pink shirt he would stand in the mirror and admire... so cute... I love the pink...

Nana also sent him some legos, a plane and stickers... and they too were a huge hit... thanks Nana...

After hanging out all day, taking a short nap the adults headed to Din Tai Fung (a famous restaurant here in Singapore... Jess said it was on the 1001 things to do before you die)... we did it... everything had pork in it (I don't eat pork) but I did get full on their lovely soups and veggie appetizers... but the rest of the gang enjoyed the dumplings....
Check Spelling
This place is so popular that you have to wait in line for a table and they give you a menu to write on so you can pre-order so they can get you in and out quickly... it was crazy.

The kitchen was right out front for all the see.. and these sweet men and women just twisted, rolled, smoothed, packed, flopped and cut each dumpling by hand... it was an art... and if it was not perfect they had a discard pile... crazy.

After dinner (which was located at the Paragon on Orchard Rd.) we all headed to Takishimya across the street to the Japanese Food Court for some moochi ice-cream... it was every one's first time to have this ice-cream (except me...oh such a weakness) and everyone loved it... most of us had 3 each... yikes... if you have never had Moochi Ice-cream and you are on orchard.... go... go right now... the best thing since sliced bread for sure...
We went to dinner with the Unruh's and the Custers... bc we love them but also The Custers are headed back to America today (Sunday) for a 3 week vacation/work stay... so this was the only time for them to meet JUJU... we had a blast and you guys will be missed... hurry home.

We went to that dumpling place (one closer to us) last night. Yum, Yum. How come we never get an invite to hang out? We like hanging out with you too.
