We miss her already....

Our last night together... we had to take JUJU to the airport around midnight so we decided to have a night out on the town to keep us all awake. We left Pierce at home (which was really sad for all of us as we saw JUJU and Pierce say good-bye). We first stopped at SPRUCE for a lovely dinner... a great contemporary Aussie Restaurant that has a lovely cheese cellar....

After dinner we headed to a comedy show at "Howl at the Moon"... it was one of the best comedy shows we have seen.... hilarious.

After the show we went to the nearest mall (Center Point) and had a Starbucks and listened to some music... there was a little duo band that was singing to us...

We were all very tired... so we headed to the airport to drop JUJU off... I am happy to report that she made it safe and sound... we miss her already.

That night Cena (our babysitter) sms'ed me and said that before Pierce would go to sleep he had to "on the light" in JUJU's room...so sweet... we will keep the light on for you JUJU.

Our Last Days Together...

Friday we headed to the Botanical Gardens to see the "Orchid Gardens"... this was one of JUJU's favorite places... it is beautiful.

Afterwards we headed out for some lunch at the Botanical Gardens... and we found some dogs so we had to stop and pet them...These were therapy dogs so they were very kind and Pierce got to feed them.

Then we found a pond of fish and turtles after lunch (btw lunch was great).

What a great Friday with JUJU.

Saturday morning we headed to the pool.... Julie has only been to the pool twice since she has been here so we thought we should get in one more... my skin is getting a little white... mama needed it too.

Pierce found my goggles and had to wear them.

He founds some boys to play with...

We are so sad to see JUJU go home tonight... we don't even want to talk about it... so for now I will say... see you tomorrow.

Day 13 - condo and night out... yippeee!

Day 13... a good one (the night was the best part)...

I had to wake Pierce up from his nap yesterday (if he sleeps to long he will not go to bed at night)... I typically open his door, open the curtain and turn on some christian music in the living room... he wakes up much better this way... (it has been waking JUJU up too from her afternoon naps :-)). Yesterday I heard him in his room stirring after I had opened everything and turned on the music... I peeked inside and he was cuddling all of his scouts... Well I have to tell you the story of his scouts...

At one of my baby showers someone (not sure whom) gave Pierce this TY stuffed Dog... since he was very small he has been attached to this dog which he calls Scout (after JUJU and KW's dog). When we moved over here I was scared that if something happened to the "original scout" that we would be in trouble...so I ordered another one on-line and brought it with us... at first (probably for a year) he did not like the new one... now he calls the new one "Daddy Scout" and likes it too... so he has "Mama Scout (which is the original)" and "Daddy Scout" and then my parents gave him a small black and white dog that sits on a blue blanket for Christmas last year and this dog now has made it to the pack and is called "baby scout"... it is so cute but we seriously have to have all 3 scouts with us at all times.... He sleeps with them, wants to take them in the car with us, wants to take them to restaurants, wants to take them on walks at night, etc.... that is why the below picture is so precious to me... bc unprompted and while I was sneaking up on him I caught him as he swooped all of them and gave them a bear hug...
JUJU brought me my favorite candy... twizzlers... love them... and now so does Pierce.

Ok... now for the night... so much fun.... We took JUJU to the New Asia bar at Stamford Hotel on the 71st floor... the best view in Singapore...

After drinks we headed to Rochester Park for some grub... and it was yum yum. We went to Graze and grazed for sure... JUJU and I split appetizers while Blake got the best steak of his LIFE... yes those were his words...

After dinner... I had to get a picture and Blake really did not want to be in the picture... I had to hurry home and get him in bed.... he was getting crabby.... :-)

Hena Tattoo anyone??? Well I hear they are new hit thing... just kidding but Julie and I did (not kidding) get a Hena Tattoo today.... and before your name is Keith Williams or Vickie Pierce and you are freaking out... they only last 5-6 days... and they are made out of natural Hena... so no harm done... just a chance to look really cool... :-)

We got this done at Holland Village today after getting a mani/pedi.... we soon had to pick up Pierce from school and come home for lunch...
