Our Final Day in the Maldives...

Sundays are usually a good day but this past Sunday was our last day in the Maldives... it was very bitter sweet... we were so excited to come home to see Pierce but we sure hated to leave paradise (and no one from work could call Blake on his phone).

After our snorkeling trip in the morning we had to come back home and take one more dip from our balcony... so in we go.

There were not many fish right around our bungalow (you could see that on the video) but if you went a little further out there were more... and these fist below were a little creepy... they were huge... bigger than two of my hands and they had human size teeth... they would pick up coral with their mouth... and they have big beady eyes... creepy...

Can you see a fish in this picture... look closely.

We had to check out at 2pm and our boat did not leave until 9 pm... oh man what are we to do without a room.. don't worry we knew exactly what we would do... REEEELLLAAAXXXX!

We had to check out the spa of course... it was on a smaller island that was linked with a bridge to our island.... so here we go... we had to kill time right?

On the bridge we saw some really cool bright teal fish... they were beautiful but I could not get a good picture..

I think I will take a dip in the spa... Blake was just on the other side of that wall in the men's section... wish we could have been together...

And then waiting in the tranquility room for our rub downs.

Back in the tranquility room after our massage with our comfy chairs (we need some of these) and fresh coconut drink.  What a way to finish the Maldives.  I could have stayed in this room forever but Blake lasted 5 min. saying I have got to go outside next to the beach... he was right so we got dressed and enjoyed the beach for a couple of hours and then boarded our boat back to the airport.

Hope to see you again Maldives... but if not it was GREAT while it lasted... thank you honey for a wonderful Anniversary... you truly are my handsome prince.

Living vicariously. How beautiful, Camille. But I did miss the cartwheel picture.=)

I think those "Creepy" fish are parrot fish. They are the fish that create sand for our beaches. Think about that one...
