Last Sunday was our last day together... we had a slow morning with packing and getting ready for Chris to board a plane that night... we headed out a little before lunch to have a great hamburger in Singapore and then we headed to do some last minute shopping/picking some stuff up and then we headed to Quayside (Clark Quay and Boat Quay) to see the marina.
Welcome to Clark Quay Chris!
We then thought it would be a good idea to hop on board one of the Hippo Tour boats to see the rest of the marina... we got some good shots and this was my first tour with them so it was nice to see somethings for the first time.
A famous statue of some local kids jumping into the water.... this used to be allowed but not anymore. They made this statue to remember the good ol days.
The first casino... a view from the marina.... wow...
The Singapore mascot... the Merlion.
Clark Quay.
The building on the right is the tallest building in Singapore... 82 floors (I think I remember) they are not allowed to build any taller than this in Singapore bc of how close everything is to the airport.
After our tour... we were both hot and sweaty (and I forgot to tell you we are trucking around both of Chris' luggage's')... so we decided to pop into Brewerks for a cold drink... Chris got the sampler...
Then with luggage's in tow we headed for our tour through Boat Quay for some famous Chili Crab. When you eat this you have to dress in a very large bib... from your neck to your knees...
oh so good... yum yum.
After dinner we headed to the ice bar across the street... the only place in Singapore where you want to wear a coat... it was -4 degrees Celsius. BUUURRRRR

Bye Uncle Chris, we enjoyed seeing Singapore through your visit!
Singapore was such a great experience for me. Camille and Pierce were such wonderful hosts. Without them, it could not have been so memorable. Thank you both!
My only regret is that I was not able to spend time with the one that Camille always talked about with a smile on here face "Blake"...Next time buddy!
Uncle Chris
Does that mean you may go to Australia next???
What does your hubby do? Who does he work for? And lastly, I noticed on The Wims blog that your sister in law lost her husband. Is that Blake's sister? Obviously - I have lots of questions after reviewing your blog!
I almost forgot - hurry up and give Pierce a baby brother or sister...what are you waiting for??? It's good to catch up. I'm glad to see you so happy!!!
