Pierce putting out the fires in Singapore...

The American Women's Association put together this great tour at one of the local fire houses... we could not pass this up.

When we arrived we got a hat for Pierce and the camera started clicking...

At first Pierce was a little shy about it all (which was surprising) but he soon got into it... our first stop was getting to spray the water hose... wow... how much fun.

Not sure where he learned to do this but the sun was in his eyes when he was trying to see how high the water went.

There was alot of commotion coming from the 3rd story of the building... we were trying to see what was going on..

And there it was... some of the firefighters were sliding down the pole. Pierce wanted to do that... yeah right.

We could not get the whole story on why this truck was short and did not have all equipment but this is one of the first trucks that goes out on the scene... and right after we took these pictures a call came that there was a fire... so they had to leave...Pierce is so cute driving this truck.

Violet joined us for the tour... Pierce always likes having his buddy with him... or should I say his girlfriend.

One of the fireman came up to Pierce and traded hats... so cute... Pierce wore the big boy hat and the guy wore the little plastic one... good thing they don't wear those in the fires... the funny thing was is that the red hat was a little too small for Pierce but seemed to fit just right for the man.

They use this shield in a fire when it is dark...

When we first got there they were sending people up in the ladder we stood in line for a while and they shut it down bc it was leaking oil under the truck... try explaining that to a 3 year old...

But they did get to climb into the truck and have fun...

Can you see how happy that he is...

After awhile they realized that all the kids were a little upset that they could not take the ride up so they let them climb in to get a picture... this is Pierce giving me a thumbs up... I am aok mom.

Our little fireman going to put out some fires... while he was sitting there he found the one button that made the most noise... the siren... leave it up to him... I think it scared everyone...

Mr. Jamey had to get in too... :-)

We had to climb in a rig to check it out... of course...

Thank you AWA and Central Firehouse in Singapore for a great tour and making it so memorable for all of us.. really is a great idea that they do this for kids...
