One day in Hue...

Our stay in Hue was quite pleasant... just take a look at this hotel room... we stayed in a hotel that was built in the 18oo's called the Morlin Hotel... a bit fancy and the beds were hard... but we had a good stay... we did not get to venture out into the city that much but the first day we took a boat on the perfume river and saw some temples.... and then the next day we woke up and went to The Citadel.

Pierce loved being in a high chair that looked like a big boy chair... we did too.

Santa was even there...

At night Pierce wanted to get into the pool but it was like 70 degrees outside and the water was freezing but it was Christmas right... so why not... lets just say that Dad never got in and Pierce jumped in about 4 times and then he was blue....

After we dried off... we headed to the pool table... Pierce first time at shooting the stick...

Just like him mom... look at that tongue...
The staff just fell in love with Pierce (as usual... it is the blond hair and blue eyes)... this guy just picked Pierce up and took him to the Christmas show rehearsal... he did bring him back later... Grandpa thought he was using Pierce as bait to attract the models that were there.
Another great night in Vietnam... more to come on our trip on the river and the Forbidden City in Hue.

This trip is a reminder to me of how important it is to take the opportunities given us. Memories that are so precious, thank you for planning such a wonderful trip.

That hotel looks amazing! You would think after all this time, the jealousy would wear off...but it hasn't. Still jealous.... :-)
