Meet the barncats...

....

Meet the Green Barncats... not such thing as a Green Barncat but we use colors to identify the different same age groups. Jess and I had 16 kindergartners (5-6).... and we had so much fun... previous years I have taught 7/8 and 9/10... and I think this year was my favorite... but I think I have said that every year... we always have fun.

Jessica and I would trade turns on who would teach... and who would do the activities.... we were a great team... and it was so nice to work with someone this year...
One of the favorite activities was tree rubbing... the kids seemed to be so shocked that you could take a leaf, a crayon and paper and make a really cool copy of the leaf... so fun.

Playdough was another great one... Pierce helped me make the playdough... never had any idea how easy it is to make playdough from scratch... and so much cheaper.
We only had the kids for 45 minutes and the rest of the time they were in music or drama or crafts or sports or assembly... what a great week at VBS...
