Day 4 and 5 were the last days at VBS but we made the best of it... Day 4 Pierce got play with bubbles and play dough... they got to sing songs about Jesus and got lots of love from the teachers.
When I came to pick Pierce up my friend was videoing her boy and Pierce dance to the theme song this year... Pierce keeps looking at the door where I am... to make sure I was still watching him... oh how I love this boy... he is sweaty bc the AirCon was broken again on Day 4... Praise God it worked for the last day.
Day 5 was a special day... bc all the kids were so excited and this is the day that we ask the children if they have any questions, want to make commitments to love God, or want to learn more information... some of us teachers were busy loving on these children that had questions so Pierce had to stay in the nursery extra long but I made it up to him... he got to go on stage with the big kids at the end of the day to practice for the BIG show that night... We snuck him in on the side of the stage... and at first he loved it... was totally into it.
Then all of sudden he started to get a little shy (I think bc they got a song that he did not know and it embarrassed him... but not sure)... so here he is right before he wanted down... rolling up his shirt... he was precious.
After he got down we headed up stairs to get a good shot... what a blessing... look at this sweet children.. there are over 400 children on stage Praising God... now that will take your breath away...
Friday night they have the BIG show where all the parents get to come and see their children perform the worship songs they have learned through the week. Pierce was really upset that he could not be on stage with the kids... so my friend took a picture of him... so cute.
The big performance... God is so good.
Thank you Jesus for another wonderful safe fun-filled God driven VBS... you are amazing!
