Pierce's handwriting... A+++

We are so proud of Pierce for many things this school year but a huge one has been the improvement in his handwriting.  When we meet with the teacher late last year he told us this was a target for Pierce... He has been working really hard at it.

Handwriting from October. Pierce has to come up with his own sentences for his spelling words and he would use 4 word sentences.

Picture below:  Handwriting from January I inserted the midline markings to help but still a lot of erasing and still using 4 word sentences.

Next Photo:  Handwriting from February.... After daddy stepped in... Need I say more... Amazing.

Daddy's bday...

We love our daddy so much and so thankful that God gave him to us... we are all better people having him in our lives... Happy Birthday daddy you are number 1.

Pierce made a big sign for the front door and we loaded it with balloons in the shape of a butterfly... but I forgot to get a pic of it... but here are some pics of his birthday dinner celebration at home... he didn't want it any other way.

Pierce made him an oil rig made out of lego's... and he also got a pair of hiking boots so he has a better grip while holding asher on his back.

Favorite birthday cake... Nana's peanut butter pie... yummy.  I love this picture of Blake... my handsome hubby.

All my boys.. my heart is full.

I love this picture bc of the wedding pic of Blake in the back group... good memories in new photos...

Spring is here... March fun!

Spring is upon us... and we are having a lot of fun... check out some random iPhone pics from March 2013.

The last post was of the Reptile farm.. here's is Pierce's drawing from the dinosaur walk.

Pierce got his first pimple... above his nostril... he's growing up...he will appreciate this picture later, right?

And this little man got a case of the runny nose... but still so cute.

Just a little cup of joe in the morning... (really tea but we like to act like adults around here)

The weather is getting great for the Hash's... daddy is taking off the jacket but the boys are still bundled up.

On an early hike in March.... we were seeing the first signs of spring... oh beautiful flowers come out... we have been waiting for you.

"Hey daddy, I think you are suppose to be settling me down not making me have the best time just seconds before I go to bed"

Mommy attended another going away party... just part of the game here as an expat.

And look who got another star of the week... and this time Mommy got her first one.  Pierce was picked by his teacher Mr. Milford bc he did an excellent job in school this week and mommy got picked bc I came to school and did a lesson on St. Patricks day packed with a lot of fun.

And look who got a high chair (Pierce's old one) and is having lunch with mommy... can't believe he is old enough for this...

Look at me mom... I can pick it up and put it in my mouth...

Just a normal day after school...

Daddy is one happy Daddy... look who learned to hold his own bottle.

C.O.O.L Club is growing... God is so good... look at all our kids that love Jesus.

More flowers...

On Easter our cool club kids had an Easter egg hunt...

After Easter the infamous Cherry Blossoms arrived everywhere... and they are breath taking.

These pics don't do them justice... but they sure do make the streets pretty especially by covering up those power lines...

A great video to enjoy and get a little taste of Pierce's reading skills... these are a list of sight words that he is learning.

And another of our little ham reading you a story... We are so proud of our little man.

Reptile Story.. in Ulsan!

One day while shopping at Costco I was asked to pet a snake and/or turtle... I declined the offer but grabbed a brochure bc I knew someone that would love to do both...

Pierce put on his best "reptile farm" clothes and grabbed a friend... and off we went.

One happy boy.. I was a bit freaked out by these snakes I do have to say.

Don't worry I gave Pierce a good scrub down when he came home... you can tell in the picture above these reptiles were living in these little boxes with little entertainment (some did not even have sticks to climb on)

Then we got to the big guy... yuck...

Liz and I had a go...
Where's the head...

Oh yeah... it was coming for me... see baby asher in the back ground...

Then outside they had a bit of a dinosaur walk... a little getto if you ask me...

the building was an old school so they had a museum of the good ol days at school... pretty cute.  The kids got dressed up and had a seat...

I think they all enjoyed it...

On our way out.. we saw this display of butterflies... thinking of my sweet Sara May...

A great day with great friends...in Ulsan.
