A weekend in a hotel with Grandad...

The weekend after we moved out of our condo Grandad came back in town for a few days... which worked out for many reasons... we got to see GD and we get to stay in a hotel... we had a great weekend full of more "last" and lots of memories...

Here are the boys in little India (shopping for some shoes for GD)... pals for life.

It was so hot on this day... we had to find a cool place for a drink and a snack... Here we are at a random Indian Restaurant that looks like the US version of Rainforest Cafe... it was really neat and had some great naan bread...
d

Back at the hotel... "hey can someone push me".

We spent some down time in the hotel watching one of our favorite shows "wipe out" but afterwards we had to create our own course... Pierce was the contestant and GD was the obstacle of choice.. pounding pillows, tickle monster and more.

There was lots of laughter...

Our last day with GD... he asked Pierce to pick the one place he wanted to go with him... and his first choice (the air force museum) was closed so we ended up at the Underwater world in Sentosa with a fish reflexology afterwards...

My little man... I just love it when family comes to visit and we get to make memories together...

The underwater world and fish reflexology went by way to fast... so we hoped in the car and headed to the Battle Box at Fort Canning...

A great day (weekend with GD)... we love you and miss you so much... wish it could have been longer.

Hi,

I stumbled across your blog as I was looking for some photos of the Ulsan school. We are also currently in Singapore and will be moving to Ulsan in August. I have two kids who willbe 8 and 6 so going into years 4 and 2. I have really enjoyed looking at your photos, especially your new appartment - I hope we find something as nice.

Esther Haydock.
