The Unruh Hospitality...

Now there is only one way to go... one way to leave Singapore... that is staying with the Unruh's... there is never a dull minute and always lots of fun.  After the Morris Manor we headed to the Home of the Unruh's... Pierce and Violet are best friends and Marek is pretty cool too.  We had so much fun destroying their house, loosing a nail (more to come on that), eating ice cream and pop tarts, making late night runs to Starbucks and watching transformers... and not to forget swimming.

Thank you Unruh Clan for being so kind to us and making our last week in Singapore a GREAT one...

Pop Tarts before school... who would not like that...

So much fun all day long = tiredness at the end of the day.

Best Friends...

Popsicles by the pool listening to Jamey play the guitar... life is grand...

The Morris Manor...

After we said goodbye to our condo... and daddy we stayed in Singapore for a couple of weeks and we had lots of fun with friends... The Morris Manor was perfect and entertained both Pierce and I for a week.  We had lots of fun but Traci and I would often get real quiet and realize that the reason we were staying together was bc we were leaving and all this would come to an end soon.  So sad but some great last moments in Singapore memories... thanks to the Morris family for being so kind to us, for feeding us, for laughing with us, for praying for us and showing us such great hospitality... we love you and will see you again.

Pierce and Brady are a week a part in age and the best of friends... Pierce is still talking about Brady and all the time they had together.

Third home in 2 years... moving in again!

3-2-2... third home, second country, in 2 years... one would think we have conquered this moving thing... but it is never really that much fun however this time was the easiest... we have no complaints and still rather shocked at how smoothly everything has gone.  Blake came to Korea a couple of weeks in advance to start work and get some things done before we came... and Pierce and I stayed in Singapore with some friends (those pics are to come) while we waited on our sea shipment to make it to Korea.

Well we arrived in Ulsan, S. Korea on the 14th of May (at night)... daddy picked us up at the airport and we drove an hour and a half and we arrived to our new home... Prugio.  Daddy had a surprise for Pierce and that night was kind of like camping it... the next morning our shipment arrived to our house (now that is what I call service).  We woke up and hit the road condo running... here is a sneak peak of the days to follow after we arrived.

The first morning... no boxes just a little bed for pierce that has been dragged in the living room so he can watch some apple TV (not reg. TV it is all in Korean).

We had some furniture ordered new for the nursery and a desk for the study... so we did have some furniture...

But our room just had clothes on the drying rack...

When we arrived late last night daddy had a surprise for Pierce... he was going to camp on the first night in his big tent in his room...

Well it came 9am and the boxes started arriving... they have this system down to a fine art... before we knew it the floors were covered in padded cardboard and the boxes were lined up in every room.

Then a part of the crew started to unpack the boxes and put the furniture together... They said they would finish all of this in one day... and they sure did it was amazing (I think I said that).

Guest room... come on guest you got a comfy bed... and the boxes are gone now.

Then there was this sweet lady that we could not communicate to each other but I hope she knows by my smile how appreciative I was of her... she unpacked the whole kitchen and put everything in its spot (know I would be lying if I told you I left it like she did it... but it sure was helpful).

Wow... never knew I had so much stuff... what happened to the big room.. it is now feeling really small.

But Pierce is so excited to see all his toys again... and they were everywhere...

I do have to say that Pierce was so helpful... he enjoyed unpacking and cleaning up... he would say wow this feels like an early Christmas...

But after a couple of hours... he needed some down time and just watch some tv... I think it got to be a little to much for him after a while.

The kitchen is coming together...

And check out all the shelves... I need more stuff :-)

Pierce's room is some what coming together... but if you know me... you know all of this stuff is starting to drive me crazy and it has only been a couple of hours... HE HE HE

Master Bedroom coming together... and so excited that my Indian rug fits... yeah....

Pierce had so much fun in the boxes... I am happy to report that the boxes are all gone... things are now in their place... still waiting to get some stuff on the walls but that will be soon... stay tuned...

30 weeks...

Age: 30 Weeks

Size: Cabbage (that is what Pierce drew on the board in the top right hand corner)

Gender:  Boy

Name:  Asher John Denton

Mom's Cravings: Anything spicy or sweet... cannot get enough spice.

Changes:  We had a lot of changes... the last time we did a progression photo was week 24 and we were in Singapore... from 24 to 30 we have left Singapore and now reside in Ulsan, S. Korea where Asher will be born.  We have packed up a house and made a new one... left friends and made new ones.  Excited to be here and ready for the next adventures.

Pierce's comments: "Hey mom... I want baby Asher to be out already", "what do you mean... so you can play with him", mom said.  "No, bc you are slower when he is in your belly", Pierce said

Dad's Prediction:  That Ulsan, S. Korea will be a great place to have baby Asher and we will all be taken good care of.

Movement: Right before we left Singapore we had one last ultrasound with our doctor and he told us that baby Asher was head down and facing backwards but straddling my spine in a frog like style.  Not sure if I described that appropriately but imagine one leg on the right and one leg on the left... so at times both sides of my stomach are bouncing with excitement.

Sweet Moment #1:  There are several moments in the day where Pierce will ask "who is going to teach Asher that".  They are usually revolved around the thought of Asher breaking one of his toys, or where to put his drink in the care, or how he is going to go to sleep, etc.  I think Pierce wants to make sure he is not in charge of that.  Little does he know.

Sweet Moment #2:  Not that many people have felt Asher move bc right at the time he is going "crazy" and moving all around I will say "Hey Pierce/Blake come and feel" and as soon as I talk it is over... I am hoping that he is already sooth by the sound of my voice...

Date of Arrival:  Late July 2012

Celebrating Asher... part 2!

OK so this one will be about the little bundle of joy in my belly... oh how so many people are so excited about this little one... a long awaited baby...to call our own... we are thrilled to welcome Asher into the world in a couple of months...

Here we are celebrating him with laughter, love and gifts...

I spoke of Eunice on the last blog entry... with her note to me... here she is writing it... I have proof...

There were so many emotions at this party... we were all excited (who does not love a good baby shower?) but we all knew that the goodbyes were coming at the end... here are just a few of the many faces made at the shower...

You can never take the Texan out of us... that is for sure...

Sweet Tiana had a bear for her and got one for Asher...

A friend gave me my first Peranakan bowl... I had wanted something Peranakan before I left and was so happy to get this from my Peranakan friend.

I had asked sweet GiGi where she got some sleepers sacs for her son and she said New Zealand so I had forgotten about them... but she had them shipped over for the party... this face does not look thrilled but it was... and still is... I am so excited to try out these sleeper sacs... they are brilliant and I did not know about them with Pierce... hope they work as well as they did for her.

Thank you everyone for a great shower and the many gifts... you have truly made this time special in so many ways... love you all!
