Universal Studios - Day 3 with K and E.

Wednesday was a much anticipated day for many... especially for Pierce.. he got to skip school and go to Universal Studios. Pierce and Blake had already been but this was my first time so you could say I was pumped as well. We got there first thing (we wanted to be first in line) and we planned on staying as long as possible (even skipping nap time... wowweee). Here we go:
This picture kind of gives you an idea... the park was huge. And a lot bigger than I expected I have to say.. it is hard to believe this much fun is just minutes away from us all the time... so hard to stay away. All rides were open which was good (the big roller coaster just opened up the week prior) and there are two more rides they are building now to open up this summer... Guess we will have to go back. Pierce was able to ride all rides except the 2 big roller coasters but he did not mind he had no interest in riding them anyways...

The park was fantastic on so many accounts... but huge dinosaurs everywhere are you kidding me... this kid was in heaven...

Since Auntie Ellie is baking up "cousin #1" she had to play it safe and not ride some of the rides... she was sport about it and even got some good shots of us riding the rides... here is Pierce on his first big roller coaster...daddy is in white and Pierce is next to him and I am in front with the peach shirt.

A ride made just for Pierce... flying dinosaurs are the coolest and now we get to ride one... the fun must stop somewhere right??

Our only group picture... and of course it had to be a silly one..

Uncle Keith and Pierce...

Auntie Ellie and Pierce...and cousin #1

While the big kids rode the huge roller coaster for the third time :-)... Auntie Elly and Pierce went to check out the park.. this is where we found them.. watching the "street dance" show... that's my son..

Oh how Pierce was loving life... this picture was taking during what is usually nap time but does this kid look tired... maybe mommy does but not this kid... keeps going going going... this ride is the like the tea cup ride... where you get off and try to keep your stomach down... oh yes Pierce made Auntie Ellie ride this 3 times with her and I rode it 3 times with Pierce and then daddy got a turn...that makes 7 times for Pierce... he could have kept going for sure...

Here is a "example" seat for the huge roller coaster... Pierce did not want to ride it but he had to check out the seat...

Are you getting tired??? I think so...

The next ride was a lot of fun... bc it is based on the movie Jurassic Park so there are dinos everywhere and you get wet... oh what fun... there is a part of the ride where you go in a dark cave and a dino jumps out at you... Pierce had his head in daddy's lap every time... so wish I got a pic of that...

Last shot of the day... happy times... and we will back for sure.
