How to love on people far from home...

If you saw this title and thought oh yes I have someone (know someone) that lives far from home and they just might be missing family especially during this holiday season.... and are at a lost on how to love on them... you have come to right place... it is easy... send them something in the mail... does not have to be big and does not have to be anything other than a card... but unless you know how it feels to come home and open up your mailbox and see a card or package from a loved one so far away... you will never understand just how SPECIAL it is...

Just over the past couple of weeks our mailman has delivered these...

A homemade wreath made out of pages of the bible from Auntie Elly and Uncle Keith... oh how it has made its mark in our home...

Pierce even got a bat...

We love the gifts but they probably have no idea just how special the paper wrapping was... ads from the states... our helper could not believe just now cheap things were in Texas... can you really get bread 2 for $1.... yes that is right...

When the buzzer rings during the day it is music to all of our ears... we all jump up and say "who is that"... and that is exactly what we did when this package came from Aunt JuJu and Uncle KW. My first and only Thanksgiving Holiday Decor... and we have 2 thanksgiving parties to go to this year... it will go to good use.
Pierce is never left out... he got some gummies....
And this awesome crocodile that is really small but when it sits in water for 14 days it grows really big... check it out... see how small it is but see how happy this boy is...

"how big is it going to get Pierce" ask mommy... "This Big" says Pierce.
And he was right... after 14 days... here is our pet crocodile... and it has been out of water for 5 days and is still this big... wow wee...

Think of someone right now to send something special too... and do it... hurry don't wait it will make their day.

We watched Aunt Elly make the wreath during a football game. She has amazing talnet.
