I know alot of people have asked for pics... so here we go... there are tons of pictures of course so hang on tight... If you don't want to see pics of Japan or the people that went on the trip STOP reading now... I am sure this is all that will be talked about on the blog for days to come... if you want to see more... come back tomorrow...
We started out flying our 8 hour leg to Tokyo Japan from Singapore.... Our family had just returned from the states 2 days prior so we were experiencing some major jet lag... but the snow, slopes and friends kept us going... Mr. Jamey and his wife Gillian planned this whole trip and we are so thankful for their dedication to making this the best trip ever... and it was so nice to be told what to do and where to go and when to do it... we were literally just along for the ride(s)... and we loved every minute... Thank you Unruhs for the best week in Japan... we look forward to the next one.
All bags are checked in and off we go to immigration... hold on tight kids...
Once in the plane... the kids were ready to see the snow... we had talked about the snow for days and they could hardly stand it... so there were alot of smiles and laughter from our side of the plane.
Pierce found his goody bag of snacks... check out that morning hair...
Daddy are you awake... jet lag is setting in... Mr Travis is wide awake in back...
We hopped off the plane to get on a train to Tokyo (Ginza Station)... kids are still a trooping along... I do have to say the first couple of days were very hard for the Denton family... Pierce was in rare form and seemed to be very frustrated and just not happy in his own skin... he is a great kid and we do love him... but he sure does know how to push our buttons when he is tired and cranky... It was hard to remember at times that our sweet 3 year old has been living out of a suitcase for 2 months, been away from home and his toys, has slept in a new environment at least once a week and change is always hard... so all in all he did great but our sweet friends helped us remember in times of need how hard this is for all children much less one that has been literally dragged all over the globe... Prayer got me through alot of situations when Daddy and I needed it the most... I am leaving out alot of details but if you have traveled with jet lagged kids before you understand.

What a terrific trip! Can't wait to see more pictures.
I can't wait to read/see about the slopes and sight seeing in Japan!
I'm already impressed with all that traveling with kids. Doesn't look like a vacation yet...but I'll stay tuned for more!

You're back!! Can't wait to hear all about the trip...snow, slopes...for some reason I didn't picture Japan being cold??
I can't wait to see pics!!!! You're living the dream, my friend, and I love you for it!
I can only imagine what a beat down it must be traveling with a 3 yrs old that's just had it. I could relate to the "couldn't get comfortable in his own skin" as the other night I swear that's what Shelby was going through. He was even convinced his own bed was making him want to throw up....
UGH! So glad you hung in there and I can't wait to see the rest of the trip.
I'm JEALOUS!
