First Stop in Vietnam....Hoi Chi Min City!

On Sunday morning we woke up at 5am to get to the airport in time for our flight... to Vietnam... we made three stops in Vietnam and our first was to see the Capitol city Hoi Chi Minh....
So early... can you tell...

An hour and half later this is what we saw... wow... amazing...
The van from our hotel the Bong Sen picked us up and Pierce was a sleep within minutes....

Stayed asleep for us to lift him out of the car and wait for our room...but we were to early to check in so we headed to the restaurant to grab a bite to eat and put him on the bench to sleep some more...

When he woke up he was thirsty...

After some food we went for a little walk and then toured the Cu Chi Tunnels... those pics are to come...
Let the begging begin...

The Opera House... beautiful.

The city was all ready for Christmas.... everywhere we went you were greeted with a "Merry Christmas"... Grandma made a good point that you go to a country that predominately worships Buddha and they can't wait to say "Merry Christmas" with a smile and then you go to America where the majority is Christian and we have to say "Happy Holidays"... what is wrong with that picture....

This Christmas tree greeted us at the door of our hotel... a Christmas tree in the tropics.... might have to start this tradition...

Just a cute pic of our little man... riding in the van ready to see the world...

We had a great first stop in Vietnam... stay tuned for more of the 5 day adventure...
