A closer look at Hoi Chi Minh/Saigon!

Hoi Chi Minh (Saigon)... was amazing... 8 million people live in the city and there are 4 million motor bikes... you can imagine... the pics below are a closer look at the city (with my new camera... love it)... make sure you check out the blog below this one to see some of our details for the first day of our trip... enjoy!

This picture was taken just for Grandad... what not to do with phone cables...

The Notre Dame Cathedral in Saigon.
We saw some crazy things carried on a motor bike and alot of them we missed... could not get the camera in time... but here is someone carrying a floral arrangement with one hand and driving with the other... we got Grandpa a good book this year for Christmas called "Bikes or Burdens" and it is a coffee book table full of random things people carry on bikes in Vietnam...a great book...

Amazing what motor bikes can do and scary! Noted on the cables too, what is it with Asia and their cables?!?! Hehe, great pictures!

I'm kind of creeped out by the little kids (with bug nets over their heads?) on the motor bikes. Just can't imagine how they stay on safely. The floral arrangement is HUGE...how can the driver see? More pictures, please!

Love all the amazing pics. You are so great at documenting life! :)

Sarah D. was singing your praises yesterday at church...bragging about how well you took care of her and how much they enjoyed the visit with you guys. :)

Wonderful pics! AND the reason I asked "are those with your new camera" is because I COULD tell a difference. Silly! It looks like you guys had an amazing time. Can't wait to see the other days!
