I have always wanted to do this...

I have always wanted to have two children that I could put in matching sleepers... now with a 5.5 year age different I have made this wish challenging... but we did it... and thanks to Pierce being a big sport about his little brother and his mom's wishes... here are our two boys wearing matching sleepers... Dream come true...

The next one is my favorite... they truly love each other...

Solids for Thanksgiving!

Mom, Dad and Pierce were not the only ones enjoying solids for Thanksgiving... so was Asher... Here are some pics of his first taste of rice cereal.  Now this is just not any rice cereal... it is all the way from the UK.  I could not find organic rice cereal anywhere here in Korea so my neighbor's husband was going to the UK and he picked me up some... and Asher was not sure what to do with at first but seemed to get the hang of it after a few bites... He would take a bite and then suck on his fingers.  These pics were taken with my phone camera so they are not the best but you get the picture... we had cereal everywhere.  He ate cereal for dinner every night for about 5 days and then his BM's were acting funny so I looked it up and I was reading about a sign of when a baby's digestive system is not ready for solids is when the BM's inconsistent... so we stopped... we still have not started back but I am sure we will soon... it was a good first thanksgiving!

Check out the finger in the next one... nice and slimy.

All the fun we had in November...

November was full of excitement and in one blog entry we will do a month recap... well sort of but here it goes.

We found a Carters in Ulsan... if you know what carters is you know how excited I was to find it... things are way more expensive than the US but I did get my hands on this cute little Turkey outfit (the bear hat was from a friend).

In preparation for Dec... the month that has a lot of excitement and meaning for our family that happens to have a lot of gift giving in it and shopping... Here is one of Pierce's list to get at the store... Candy, Toys, Car, Pen, and Phone...

We had a wonderful thanksgiving feast with our church family and here is a picture of all our trimmings that we brought... feta cous cous, broccoli and rice and turkey sugar cookies

And this guy has decided to be a lazy eater... For the first few minutes of a feed he will eat with passion but the remainder 20+ minutes he would prefer to have the bottle drip in his mouth but he sure is cute... We think this is funny bc when Pierce was this age he would suck the bottle down in a matter of minutes until the last drop and Asher rarely finishes a whole bottle.

Another score from Caters... little brother... but what is great about this picture is that Asher is 3.5 months old here and wearing 9 mos clothing... we have another beast...

Asher is the most laid back baby... when he is awake he is full of smiles and laughter and will go with the flow all day long.  I had him in the car one morning after dropping off brother and I heard Asher whimper a little bit in the back seat but soon went silent.  I parked the car and this is what I found... so patient... he probably could not see bc of the hat with a little spit up he decided to let me know about it but then thought that was to much effort so he just went to sleep...

We got some lovin this month from family and friends... we just love packages and Pierce got his first nutcracker from JuJu and KW... he loves it... and wanted to see if it would crack a nut... but I had to explain that somethings are made just for decoration and this was probably one of them.

Just to cute not to share...

Snug as a bug... it has gotten a lot colder here these days (we even had snow today) so I am having to learn how to wrap up my children... and keep them warm...

My first goodbye here in Ulsan... the worst part of expat living and it only took 6 mos for me to meet someone that I enjoyed being with and then to turn around and have to say goodbye as they headed back to their home country... here we are a girls lunch sending her off with pumpkin and duck.

We are so proud of our big star... he got another Star of the Week... the first one he got in Art and this time he got in Music... the teachers pick a student that stood out compared to the others... He was so proud to get it and we were too...

And this man is our little star and is finally sleeping through the night... he will go to bed around 8pm, get a dream feed around 11 and then wakes up around 7 am... this picture was taken the morning of his first big sleep... so happy (both of us).

Our sweet friends, the Willertons sent Asher this cool pacifier... their baby is a week younger than Asher and they knew that Asher would love this pacifier that has an attached monkey... and they were right...

Just a random picture of our morning in the elevator going to school... Pierce all bundled up and smiling to go play with his friends... but lovin on Asher before he leaves him all day... we sure are happy when brother gets back from school.

One morning I joined a friend for a tea at Starbucks and I forgot Asher's pacifier... he was getting tired and needed his pacifier so I tried my finger... yes Asher is totally a sleep here... love this kid....

We got a package full of great memories from Kathy May (Sara May's mom) which included hats that were worn by Sara May... and they fit Asher perfectly... Asher has a big head :-)... and check out this onsie... this picture is cute to me in so many way but especially seeing something that was made in Singapore wearing a beanie... just does not go together but cute.

Approved...and Accepted!

When mom and dad are from one country but decide to have a baby in another... there is a lot of extra paperwork... especially to get the baby in question approved and accepted from mom and dads country...

Asher has been approved and accepted... Yippee...

The first three photos were attempts at getting a passport photo of Asher... needless to say they did not work and we had to finally go to the professionals...

This means we can come home for the new years... yeah...

Paints, friends and fun = Craft Day

Back in Singapore I had a good friend that often had craft day at her house and this time last year we were gathered around her dining room table making crafts for the holidays... this year as I brought out those crafts for decorations I thought about her and all the kids and then thought I should do that here with my new friends and make new memories.. so we did... and here are some pics of our fun day.  The moms and kids loved it so much that one of the moms is having the next craft day at her house... can't wait... enjoy our pumpkin and placemat making with friends...

I have to say I love these pumpkins bc since we have  lived in a small flat now for 5 years... any decoration that folds up completely flat and does not take up to much space is an A+ in my book... they are stuffed with a roll of toilet paper and when done with the decor nothing goes to waste.

After all the fun inside... we had to layer up and go play outside for lunch and more fun.

Some photos from a friends camera... a great day for sure... can't wait for December.
