Happy BIrthday Grandad!

Happy Birthday to Grandad... the man that has done so much for me...

Grandad has given me so many great things and we have made alot of memories together...
First he gave me my name and has taught me so much since I was born.

He even saved his toys for me from when he was my age... here we are playing with his race cars.
He even keeps smiling when I am not..

He taught me how to fish...

He taught me how to ride a bike...

How to slide on my belly and go really fast...
How to chill on the balcony and enjoy a meal with family...

How to enjoy whip cream in an ice cream cone...

How to hunt for lots and lots of bugs...and which ones to touch and which ones not to touch (that is very important).

How to work on 2 things at once... how to be on the phone and play on the computer at one time.

How to be "King of the world"...

How to dig for worms (this was help from ViVi too)...

I love you so much and thanks for all the memories... and I look forward to many more memories together... Happy Birthday Grandad... your the best Grandad around.

My boys... at Christmas

The rest of Christmas Day consisted of lot of playing, a few Lego's, taking a rest from all the fun and then finally getting dressed and heading to Chili's for dinner.. I know not your traditional Christmas dinner but definitely a little taste of home. Looks at my boys aren't they so cute?

Then we came home for some wii... Pierce got the super mario cart game for Christmas and we had to hold him back all day and say we could only play it when it got dark... so here we are... they are serious don't you think... Daddy has yet to let Pierce win. :-)

Don't they look cute when they match... shhhh don't tell daddy. :-)

Christmas Morning...

The morning we have all been waiting for was finally here... did Santa come?
Well the first picture will prove that... the milk was gone, half a cookie was left and even the reindeer had a bite to eat and only left a little bit of carrot.

And our little boy was all smiles and he had to bring Grace to the party.

We even got to light the fire place (it was 80 degrees outside) and singa was sleeping by the warmth.

And the madness begins... every one for himself...

Mommy and Daddy can now play a little music in their room.

Singa even got a present...

So so happy... I think we need to invest in some star wars lego's don't you...

Now it is time to play.

One of my favorite presents... now next time I go to BBQ and need to keep something hot or cold.. I will be going in style... isn't this the cutest bag...

This is just the second lego's of the day... batman came to save the day.

Digging for dinosaur bones...

What a great morning/afternoon and evening... thanks to all that made our day so bright.

A wonderful Christmas Eve...

What a wonderful Christmas eve we had with friends... it started out with an early dinner (and yes with a big turkey and gravy... very fancy thanks to the Custer's), then off to the 6pm candle light service at IBC, then Christmas with Tita, bible story time and then to bed... oh so ready to see if we have been good boys and girls for Santa... did he come???

The kiddy table at the Custers...

The Denton's and the Willerton's... I was trying to be festive and I realized I do not have anything red and green expect jewelry... sorry for the obnoxious jewelry :-)

The hostess Mrs. Jessica... prego and all... oh how pretty she is... and even GiGi made it in the picture in the background

Here is the only pic I have of the candle light service... we were late so we had to sit in the over flow room and we did not get candles... but Elysse managed to get one and shared with Pierce after all...

Home at last... Christmas with Tita.

Pierce was with me when we got this present for Tita... and he thought it was his so this is his face saying "no this is mine"... :-) What are you going to do with a printer son??? Tita has lots of hopes for the recipe book she is going to make.

The next part of the night is always my favorite... spending time with just our family and remembering the true reason for the season... Jesus' birth. We got this manger scene from Kingdom Creations (non-profit organization out of Cambodia) and Pierce wanted to put it in his room... and every night he would thank Jesus for God's house... so cute right???

We have a tradition where dad reads "Jesus' birth" to Pierce... this is always a sweet moment in our house to keep our eyes on the TRUTH of CHRISTmas.

Merry Christmas... and off to bed we go.

Christmas awaits us...
