Got our names...

Well we finally made it to our third HASH... it took us a while to get here bc your third HASH is a big deal and we wanted to all make it as a family.  Your third HASH you get your HASH name... our names were self appointed, or at least should I say "Blake appointed"... there was a lot of pressure for a good name... I think we are all happy with what we got...

Here we are at the start of the hike... man it was cold that day...

Pierce has really gotten to love these hikes and being outdoors... we could not be happier for him... we had the pool non stop for 4 years in Singapore... and now with the cold weather and no pool in sight... the great outdoors is doing us wonders...

Yeah... we got high enough up the mountain and found some snow... a little bit but it is still snow.

We made it to the very top...  yeah!

we got a long way down... and we are so proud of Pierce he never complained the whole time...

We finally reached the end... and now to get our names...

Meet:  Funky Monkey, Sweaty Mule and Scout Boy...I think the names are self explanatory... HE HE HE...  this was Asher's second Hash so he will be named next time... stay tuned...

He did not mind much... can't you tell... fast a sleep and staying warm.

HFS Christmas at School

More Christmas Fun at school.... this party was during the day and Daddy was able to come and hang out with us... Pierce was so thrilled to have us all there.  He was happy to show off his baby brother.
Pierce is the one in Santa hat... loves the attention that one.

See we have proof... daddy is here...

I just love the cubbies... I had to take a picture...

The kids were asked to take the gifts to their parents... he was so excited to share...

Let the games begin... this game the kids were trying to get their parents to smile or laugh... Blake was a tough one to break.

And now the dance off... looks who in front (does that surprise you???)

One happy family... so happy to be together... so proud of our big boy...

HFS Christmas Show Night...

Yes we are still reviewing Christmas... what can I say we had a lot going on... this post is about the school Christmas play... actually called the CHRISTMAS VARIETY SHOW... every class put on a little ditty/dance/play/song and we were all excited, the kids on stage and the parents anxiously waiting... here is how the night went...

As soon as we arrived Pierce wanted to show off all his work... we visited every bulletin board that had one of his masterpieces on it... he was so proud... we were so proud.  This show was really late did not start until 7pm so unfortunately Daddy had to stay home with Asher... so there are lots of pics and video so Daddy did not miss a beat.

The kids were to meet in their classrooms and wait for their turn on stage... here is Pierce's class... is that a chess board I see...

And the show starts... the big kids were on first to kick us off...

The teachers even had a little song for us... Pierce teacher is the guy in the back on the left.

Now it is Year 2's turn... here is our little man

There is our boy... no qualms at all with picking his nose in front of a 100+  crowd.

Let the Video's begin...

Something I have known for a long time is that Australia's summer is winter but I never really thought about it until this past Christmas that their Christmas is hot... the kids were to sing Jingle Bells at the play but the Aussie way... it is so cute... check it out... all our Aussie friends here kept saying it did not feel like Christmas since it was so cold outside... I love it.

Rockin around the Christmas Tree

My Two Front Teeth

Guess who was kissing Santa Claus???

C.O.O.L. Club Acronym for CHRISTMAS.  Cool Club is an after school program that is very similar to Sunday School but falls on a Wednesday and stands for Children of our Lord.  The school would not approve a nativity scene skit in hopes to honor all religions but they would approve this... I think the kids did a great job.

Middle School Orchestra Surprise - not really sure of the whole story here but our school performed at a local middle school at a function so they surprised us with this... AMAZING!  (side note... these kids are in middle school)

THE HFS Christmas Variety Show Finale

Shed a few tears... so proud of our little man and really blessed by all the experiences he is getting...

100 day photo shoot!

A 100 day old baby in Korea is a BIG deal... the old tradition is to say that if you baby makes it to 100 days they will survive.  So to this day they still celebrate this big milestone in many ways.  There is usually a big party/celebration for the family but we did not do that... however we did get a card from the hospital that said congratulations and we had a photo shoot, which is very common... they even have 100 day packages to purchase... Here are some pics of our photo shoot done in a studio (very Korean Style)... they turned out cute...

Even bubba got in on the action....

Usually all 100 days photos are done naked or in a Hanbok (Korean attire)... we rented the boys some Hanbok's to celebrate the occasion.

And since it was Christmas time we had some Christmas pics made just as a little extra... the funny thing is we did not have any Christmas clothes so they dressed Asher in their clothes.  A cute hat, a Christmas sweater and shorts... one of these things is not right????

This was at the end of the session and Asher was DONE... can you tell.  I love Pierces face bc he was yelling "mommy, mommy... help"...

We had the photographer write Merry Christmas in Korean on the next picture and we used this on the back of our Christmas card... when you buy the photo session you also get a year old photo session with the same company... so in August be on the look out for more...
