Are you having fun yet with the flashbacks... we join me we are stuck in Dec... Christmas time was so much fun we got to write all about it. Before our trip to Texas we had a lot of Christmas fun... we did not do a lot of decorating hence we were home bound in a few weeks but family made this time of waiting so much...
First thanks to ViVi and Grandad we had 25 days of Christmas... a tradition in our family where Pierce gets to open a small gift everyday... just in case he is not in the mood for gifts this helps (right?). He has to find the number to match the day of the month and then he gets to open...

Usually after we open the package... we eat it or play with it... here is some fun painting we got to do.
Not sure what he was writing on this... wish I could remember... but he was so happy with his big paper.
At one of the fairs in Singapore we found this great USA Army Santa... it is a favorite in our house... and a side note when we moved to Korea Pierce found this box with this Santa and he wanted to put it up in his room...
Thanks to Nana... we always have a great virtual advent calendar... we usually do this first to learn the day of the month we are on... we find the date and the computer comes to life... these are great and so much fun...
This year we also had a Jesse Tree... I had never heard about this but a friend of mine put a group of ladies together to make these ornaments for the 25 days of Christmas... and with each day you open an ornament and there is a devotion that goes with the ornament that leads up to the true meaning of Christmas... JESUS. ViVi and Grandad helped me make my ornament (28 of them) and here are some of the others that were made.
Pierce was in the craft spirit and made me a piece of art everyday almost.. always about a manger, snow, Christmas tree's, etc...
So much fun... can't wait to see what we do this year... thanks to our family for always making it special and full of memories.
