Snow in Singapore... are you kidding me?

Can you believe it... snow in Singapore... not the normal snow you are probably thinking about... but snow made out of soap suds... it was awesome... a little gross but so much fun...

After the snow stopped we kept playing... in the suds on the ground... yes that is right you are only a kid once...

This girl was making a snow angel... so cute.

Another great night together... and another amazing memory... Singapore really knows how to make every holiday and event special and memorable...

More fun back in Singapore...

We had been back in Singapore for 1 day and already back to our normal... having fun, eating good food and staying busy... here are a couple pics of our outings with Grandma and Grandpa for the next 2 days...

We hired our babysitter and set out to visit Roberston Quay with just the adults... Pierce was going to have fun with Cena and we couldn't wait to show GM and GP the other side of the quay. First stop Brussels Sprouts for some good beer and then off to Boomerangs for the Aussie food.

Roberston Quay has a beautiful bridge... we had to get some pics..

The next night we headed down to Orchard Road for some Mochi Ice Cream... an ice cream from Japan... if you haven't had it you have got to try it... awesome and you can't just have one.

Now that is what I call a Christmas Tree... made out of chocolate.

During the holiday Orchard Rd. is covered with people showing their talent, singing, dancing, art, etc... check out this girl... where is her other leg??? Ouch.

Mochi Icecream anyone???

My Muscle men...

We even got to talk with ViVi and Grandad on Skype and tell them all about our Christmas adventures in Vietnam... I was trying to show my mom my new camera and I accidentally took a picture but I thought it turned out cute... these days that is exactly how I look... with a camera attached to my right eye and my mom usually looks like this in the morning when we get to talk with her during our night... beautiful...

Grandma and Grandpa stayed with us until the 30th of Dec... so make sure you come back to see more...

Singapore is ready...

Singapore is ready for Christmas... and they have been for almost a month... President Obama made a stop in Singapore a couple of weeks ago and I had heard they wanted all the decorations in the city up for the big occasions (it was him and many more important people). Well a group of us had to go and check it all out....

This is our second year in Singapore for Christmas and the decorations on Orchard Rd. are so different from the previous year... I was asking a friend of mine that has been here for 8 years and she says she has never seen the same ones... what do they do with them... I would love to have some of these in my yard back home... HE HE HE

Huge Blue Christmas Tree.... gorgeous.

Standing in the middle of the street I got this picture... isn't that crazy.

Wheelock Place decorated on the inside...

Ion decorated on the inside... and look at all the shoppers.

This is the first gingerbread house I have seen this year... and it was massive.

Tweet... Tweet... Tweet.

Cool Reindeers lined the street outside...and people love taking pics with them... check it out.

A great scripture on display of Tangs right in the heart of the city...
The new Ion has a lovely exterior with water... the boys were playing in it...

The Blue Christmas Tree... a closer look and we found out that you can go inside it... now that is a Christmas Tree.

Now they really know how to decorate for the season... maybe there is no snow here but we have lights... and lots of them.

Tickle Tickle... Day 3!

Day 3... tickle tickle...

Note: I know that I am way behind (Chris has already left to go back home) but we have been so busy and got back a day later than expected from Thailand... so I have alot to blog about... here is day 3.

We dropped Pierce off at school and headed to Orchard Rd. for some window shopping, some nibble nibble (on our feet) and then for some nibble nibble for our bellies.

Here is Chris at the Fish Reflexology on Orchard Rd. He was not so sure at first but did a great job... you have got to see the video below.
This has got to be the best one that I have been too.... look at all those fish... Kenko Fish Reflexology.

We first started out in the smaller fish and then Chris got brave and we headed over to the monsters... check those fish out... they don't suck they bite.... HE HE HE

Then we went back to the smaller ones... they got more coverage for sure...

Then we headed down Orchard Rd. to have some grub at Ngee Ann City... Chris got a smorgish board of goodies.... here he is eating a rice dumpling. We ended up sharing a table with some older locals and they were very excited to see Caucasians in the hawker center... they said if we knew of this place then we KNEW SINGAPORE... with huge smiles on their faces... so sweet.

We had a lazy afternoon while Pierce took a nap and then we headed to Villa Bali (one of Chris' favorite places) for dinner... Gillian and her family joined up for some grub.
Someday my backyard will look like this... what do you think?

Pierce can not get enough Chicken satay...

I asked Chris what was his favorite meal in Singapore and he said that there were several but one was the dish below... Fish Marsala...yum yum

Pierce and Violet watching a movie... but what is up with the gun thing... he is killing me...

You have got to see these videos... those fish were'a biting....
