Frirends Forever...

Just came across the pictures and can not believe I did not blog about this yet... You have seen a lot of pics of the three of us... we almost did everything together... including a great vacay to Japan, lots of lunches at CPK, I have gotten to watch both of these girls grow with a little one and then welcome the baby home, lots of parties, some tears and tons of laughter. A couple of months ago we had to say goodbye to Jessica as she was headed to Holland with her family. We had our "goodbye tea" at TWG (where I had my mine but then I came back so we were hoping Jess would come back too). I miss you friend... I miss so much about you but the biggest thing is your constant smile. Singapore has not been the same since you left. Maybe I am just now getting around to blogging this bc I was in denial but one thing I have learned about living here is friends come and go but the friendship is forever. Love you Jess!

More pics of JuJu!

I was cleaning up some folders of various pics I have... and I found these from Aunt JuJu's visit... I just had to post them... great memories and it has not been long since JuJu visited but it feels like too long ago.

Here are Pierce and Aunt JuJu playing at the Science Center..

On her last night here... I remember one happy boy to get his JuJu in bed with him reading a book...

We miss you Aunt JuJu!

Girls Night... Macbeth!

I always welcome girls night.. especially with these girls... what a great night and thanks to Gillian for finding the Macbeth play in the park. We all brought a little something to eat while sitting on the grassy knoll to watch the play. Amazing night... can't wait to do it again.

Yacht ride with friends...

Do you know about Groupon? If not you should... check it out. One afternoon I was checking out the deals on Groupon and ran across a Yacht ride 70% off for 10 people. So I looked at Blake and he just shook his head he knew what I was thinking? We soon got our 10 people and booked our 3 hour cruise around Singapore on a yacht.

Here is the gang...

They allowed us to bring our own food for dinner so we choose to have the cruise at night to see the sun set. This picture is some of the girls getting the food together.. and our driver in the back untying us from the dock... here we go..

I could not resist...
Here is a new condo that is coming up around the marina... looks like sails right?

The back of the boat was a bit windy but the best seat until the sun set and then we went to the front of the boat to check out the city lights.

Beautiful...

We got to dock at a private island... but we were enjoying the yacht so much that we never got off.
Check out this spread.... it was like thanksgiving dinner... yummy.

We tried to get a shot at night time at the front of the boat.. but this is the best we got... you get the idea... it was romantic...

One great night with some good friends... thank you Groupon!

Since Soccer is over now... Alex (one of Pierce's good friends... and we like his parents too :-))... they have left for England for the summer (we miss them already)... Here are some pics of them playing around on the field on saturday.

During the summer alot of people leave on holiday and this year we are staying put... so the town is getting quiet, we are sad to say goodbye... but we are still having fun... stay tuned for more summer fun...

Texas A&M Muster 2011!

Muster in Singapore gets bigger and bigger every year... if you would like to read more about MUSTER and what it means to us AGGIES... go here or here.

This year TAMU Muster in Singapore was held at Brewerks and this was Pierce's first year to come. This is a special night for all aggies (including spouses) were we honor the fallen aggies of all generations. Once an aggie you can guarantee that when you die you will be honored and celebrated.

At roll call this year I heard a familiar name and went immediately to ask the person that said here for her... and found out that a co-worker of mine from college wife had died in Feb., leaving behind two small children. Since then I have been re-connected with the family and they are now in our prayers... it is amazing no matter where you go or how long you are away from AggieLand we are always connected.

Here is our group shot this year...

Surf Day at ICS!

Surf and Turf day at ICS was a much anticipated day.... Pierce would come home for weeks telling me the count down for this day... so when his teacher asked for volunteers to help out on this day I had to sign up... I did not want to miss out... and it was worth it.

Here are all the kids lined up before they got dressed to get wet...

Dressed for water play... and lets get started. JK, K and 1st grade split up in groups (all grades mixed) and they went around to several different relays that included lots of water... and there was a slight (BIG) chance that you would get wet... oh how much fun.

The relay below you had to carry a water balloon using your back only...

One happy boy...

Playing Duck, Duck Splash...

Pass the bag back and fill up the bucket (the bag has wholes in it)

Look how wet all the teachers got... what a fun day.
