Boys Night...

The other weekend... there was a major BOYS NIGHT in our house... The Willerton Boys (Caleb and Levi) came over for some fun...This was Pierce's first sleep over where they all stayed in one room. We were not sure how it would go but it was great and they all had a great time. This is what I found in the morning... Levi and Pierce was woken up by Caleb who was ready to play... and these two did not want to get up...

Soon they made their way to the living room for some "toons".... There is nothing better than Sunday morning cartoons.

They remember how much fun they had with their blankets lying next to each other last night we had to do it again in the morning.

Boys are dressed in brown and ready for church...

They all wanted "Mohawks" for church... here they are all dressed and ready to go...

What a great night and morning... I am sure this was the first of many.

Do what Pirates do...

I have a lot to catch up on and one of the items is Pierce's 4th birthday party... however before we show you the pics from the party we must show you the pre-party pics... We got a lot of the party supplies from Oriental Trading and had K&E bring them with them... bc it is so much cheaper there and some of the items were a pirate blow up and a boat blow up... we decided to blow them up a couple of days in advance so Pierce could play with them and then hopefully he would be more apt to share them on his party day... so glad we did that... bc look below how much he loved them... he had to take naps in the boat next to the pirate... we were obvioulsy having a Pirate themed birthday party.

And sure enough the day of his party him and boat and the pirate had connected so well that he was comfortable to share his new toys with his friends.... or he was so tired of the "crick" in his neck he was ready to set them free.

Speechless Sunday!

How many times can one person go to the toliet...

Pierce has been sick since last Monday... we are officially going on 7 days of running to the toilet when it is time. He came home from school on Monday with a upset stomach, after visiting the doctor on Tuesday we have what we believe are little tiny bacteria living in Pierce's stomach... we have been on meds for several days, had a fever for several days... and we are still running to the toilet. Poor baby. Pierce has never fallen a sleep on the couch (maybe when he was like 2 months old but that is it)... here he is passed out cold... Hoping that the little bacteria go away before we have to leave on a jet plane in less than 48 hours... hurry up.

I want to be a big boy!

Our little man is growing up... he is about to turn 3 years old in Jan. and he still sleeps in his crib and loves his crib... however last Sunday he asked to sleep on the floor "like a big boy" (the kids at his school take naps on the floor). So we laid his mattress on the floor and shut the door... he came out once and said he needed to go the rest room so we let him go and then told him if you get up again we will have to put you back in your crib... he never moved and I went and checked on him 5 minutes later and this is what I found... a sleeping little man.
Now this was the first and last time he has done this... he did very well and when he woke up he came out of his room and played but that night we tried it again and he got up 4 times... on the last time I told him you get up again you are going back in your crib... and he did... everyday we have given him the choice of sleeping on the floor or the crib and he likes his crib..... as one of my friends says he might not be "emotionally" ready for a big boy bed... so we will continue to wait... but I am proud that he took a nap on the floor for the first time... we soon will probably be moving into a big boy bed... oh how fast they grow up...
