Speechless Sunday!

Ok so this won't be a speechless Sunday after all... but I thought I should write to ease all the grandparents minds about "what happened to Pierce's head"... it is official... Pierce climbed out of his bed and fell straight on his head (and if you don't know we have concrete/marble flooring)... We were all lying down and I had just dosed off and heard a deep "thud" and then some screaming.... I immediately knew what had happened and found Pierce on all fours crying.... he had to tell me over and over "Mama I fell from the bed"... then I had to correct him and say "You climbed out of the bed and fell :-)".... I am not thankful that he got hurt but getting hurt has kept in bed since safe and sound... scared to get hurt again...

After I got him to calm down (he was lying on my chest and I was singing to him) he fell asleep... I rolled him over to our bed where he had his nap safe and sound... he was so excited when he woke up in our bed (the first time ever that he slept in our bed)... but I am happy to report that the next day (today) he is a sleep in his bed taking a nap.
