Converstations with Pierce!

1. This is just for female readers... One morning while I was getting dressed Pierce looked at me and said "wow what are those" and that is when I had to make a conscious decision not to laugh but I said "those are my breast. God gave them to mommies to feed babies" then Pierce said "You only got White Milk mama? Not Pink or Chocolate?" I could no longer hold it in and I did the spitting laughter thing and smiled and said "Yes son only White Milk" and then he left the room.

2. One day we were in the car and something came up where we called Pierce cute and that is when he said "I am not cute I am cool and awesome"

3. Pierce starts about 5 of sentences a day with this "When I was a boy". Note he is only 3.5 going on 19.

Halloween at school!

Eton House had a little party on Friday for Halloween and Pierce and Tita made these spider cupcakes to take to school... here Pierce is trying to show you the cupcakes and be scared of the spiders at the same time... are you scared?
We fixed our hair and now we are a cool race car driver.... ready to go fast.... but for some reason when we took the picture Pierce wanted to be scary again...

What a fun day to dress up and eat lots of sweets. Stay tuned for more Halloween fun.

I just love doing Then and Nows... time needs to slow down... Pierce is wearing the same shorts in all the pics (2009 and 2010) but my how he has grown.

Friends and Bikes... does not get much better.

We are just loving our new place for many reasons... but some of the top reasons are bc we can have lots of room for friends to come and play (even have a couch that fits 3 small children lying down) and we have room to ride our bike around and have fun at our new home...

Pierce is getting much better on his bike... here Daddy is saying hey go this way and Pierce is off in another direction... which is a huge step bc that means he can now pedal on his own we are still getting the hang of steering but we are getting there. There is not a lot of room to ride our bike at the condo but for learning it is perfect except for the part about how we are surrounded by bodies of water... ooppssss.

Oh all the little things that make us happy.

Cooking with Tita!

This is Tita's (also known as Mary) first blog entry... she is a new addition to our home and we love having her with us.... there is a lot of cooking going on the kitchen and Pierce wants to be a part of it all the time. Here is Tita and Pierce baking cookies... so many smiles.
