Hyundai Beach... plus some sea gulls

We had a great day at the Hyundai Beach with some good friends... our Korean Teacher and her hubby... We all enjoy hanging out with them so much.  It all started bc I wanted to go to a good sushi restaurant... and so we piled in the car and headed to Busan for a Saturday with friends and good food.

I am sure it was a deep conversation...

Pierce found this random skull on the beach (it looked like an alligator gar) and he was so proud of himself.

I rarely get to take pics with my big boy... so we took a couple... I just love this little man... so proud to be his mama.

Mr. Kevin surprised us with some chips to feed the birds with... oh what fun that was...

See the below picture... me holding the chip and the birds coming to get it...

When we got low on chips... they decided to nibble on the littlest person... These are pics of Pierce running from the birds... they were too close for comfort.

This is a very sweet picture... Pierce was very adamant about getting this grey bird a chip.  I first noticed what was going on when he was shoeing all the big white birds away and he was creeping up to this bird... that was much smaller, a different color and was not moving that much.  After the bird got a chip he was so proud of himself and told me what was happening.  He said he wanted the "not so strong" bird to get feed to and it was not fair that only the mean birds were getting food.  Sweet boy.

Asher started to make some noise... it was time for him to eat... Mrs. Hanna to the rescue.

After all the bird fun... we got another show... first check out what we are wearing and now look at what the guys are wearing in the next picture... little to nothing while playing soccer... supposedly you can find them at all hours of every day doing this exact thing...

Before we had fun on the beach... we did have some good sushi... Mrs. Hanna was so thrilled at all that Pierce was eating so she took lots of pics of him eating and drinking...

Aloe Vera Jelly was a huge hit...

A great day with great friends... can't wait to do it again.

STP Day...

Never knew that St. Patricks day was a Christian holiday... it is amazing how little I know about true meanings of some holidays/traditions... Thanks to Kathy May for sending me some goodies for STP day (see below) I asked Pierce's teacher if I could come into class one day and do a craft and some other fun stuff in honor of the fun holiday... after much research it turns out that Saint Patrick was a great guy... and did many great things.. google it... but my favorite is the clover that is used to be represent STP day is suppose to only have three cloves (we added another one... you will find out)... but Patrick always carried around a three leaf clover with him not for good luck but to share with others the "Trinity"... three leaves represent God, the son and the holy spirit... all attached to one main stem that brings them all life... our GOD (in three parts)... amazing huh... and as you can see on the packaging below... the "hallmark" version has added another clover... hummmm...

It was a great day... I just love being in Pierce's class with his friends... but don't get me wrong after a couple of hours I love leaving too... HE HE HE... We made these necklaces and the kids loved them (thanks Kathy... we adore you), we had a trivia game and did some other paperwork like crosswords, etc.  It was so much fun and afraid that we set the bar high for next year.  Sorry no pics of my time in the class... I was to busy teaching... :-)

That night... the parents got to play at the clubhouse... we hired our first babysitter and put on green and headed out... the compound band was playing at the clubhouse and their was a special on Guinness of course... so it was a full house... our first night out was a lot of fun. (sorry no pics of Blake... he was camera shy)

While in Singapore I was given some free green mascara and yellow eye shadow... I thought about giving it away at first but so glad I kept it... was a lot of fun on STP Day.

Fun times in Ulsan.
