Yacht ride with friends...

Do you know about Groupon? If not you should... check it out. One afternoon I was checking out the deals on Groupon and ran across a Yacht ride 70% off for 10 people. So I looked at Blake and he just shook his head he knew what I was thinking? We soon got our 10 people and booked our 3 hour cruise around Singapore on a yacht.

Here is the gang...

They allowed us to bring our own food for dinner so we choose to have the cruise at night to see the sun set. This picture is some of the girls getting the food together.. and our driver in the back untying us from the dock... here we go..

I could not resist...
Here is a new condo that is coming up around the marina... looks like sails right?

The back of the boat was a bit windy but the best seat until the sun set and then we went to the front of the boat to check out the city lights.

Beautiful...

We got to dock at a private island... but we were enjoying the yacht so much that we never got off.
Check out this spread.... it was like thanksgiving dinner... yummy.

We tried to get a shot at night time at the front of the boat.. but this is the best we got... you get the idea... it was romantic...

One great night with some good friends... thank you Groupon!

A great Resurrection Sunday...

Resurrection Sunday was a blast... there are many reason why we love this day but the biggest is bc of the reminder that the Tomb was empty... this year Pierce was told the story over and over again... at home, at school and at church and it really seemed to click for him. He would remind us at the dinner table that Jesus died and rose again and that He is now in Heaven. He would pray at night and thank Jesus for "getting up" and leaving the tomb empty. Another reason is bc we get to have a lot of fun as we celebrate the reason for the season. Thanks to family we got some care packages full of sweets and goodies. And after church we were invited to a friends for an Easter Lunch Celebration including another egg hunt and then we had our own egg hunt at that house with resurrection eggs and some new GRAVITY eggs.

Check it out...
Here are the gravity eggs... some of the stuck to walls, some hung from door knobs, some of them could glow in the dark and more.

How many eggs did you get...
Once he collected all his eggs he could go on the hunt from his Easter Basket (which was hidden in Tita's toilet :-), this is about the only place Pierce does not go to in our small condo).

Check out this Easter Sunday spread... I am so thankful for friends and I truly felt this Easter that we were amongst family. We really enjoyed playing with friends and having good food... felt like home.

The men in the kitchen (and this is not where the food was)... what is up with that...

I asked Pierce how many eggs he was allowed to get and he said 2... but he could really get 10... how many do you think he ended up with ?
So clever they even hid them on this raft in the middle of the pool... Pierce waited patiently until the raft came to him.

Good boy... he got 10... way to follow the rules...

A great day with friends... celebrating our Risen Savior... sorry this entry is so late but you know what I like to say.... better late than never.

Easter at the Willertons!

Playing catch up.... lets go all the way back to April shall we... Pierce and his friends celebrating Easter with a good old fashioned Easter Egg Hunt at the Willerton's. Jennifer is a home schooler mom so you better believe the kids had some great crafts and activities before the Easter egg hunt and swimming. Thanks to a great mom and Oriental Trading the day was set... and we had a blast.

Here are the kids doing their craft and egg magnet...

There was much excitement in anticipation for the egg hunt... this was the second year for the egg hunt so Pierce knew exactly what was in store... The Willerton's go way out on the eggs and there are plenty for the kids...

Jennifer holding Anastasia...
Pierce with Violet and Elyse... Pierce is about 6 to 8 months older than these girls... and he looks like a giant... what is this kid eating...
Sweet Miles.. I just love this picture.

Now time for a resurrection Sunday activity... sticker activity set... yeah.

The kids all lined up for the hunt.
Off they go...

I think us parents have as much fun... some of the men were in charge of hiding and we parents had to help the kids a little... but I think that was on purpose to keep us entertained...
The boys stuck together.. I kept telling Pierce he would find more if he split up... good luck right?
Look at all those eggs...
Pierce and Violet...

Another great year celebrating "the tomb was empty" with friends... that I consider like family. Thank you Jennifer, Justin, Caleb and Levi for a great afternoon and making this years Easter a memorable one.

Meet Anna Michelle...

Meet Anna Michelle Denton... our new Niece/Cousin... we are so proud of Mom and Dad (Auntie Elly and Uncle Keith).... they sure do make a cute baby girl. The only thing is we just wish we were there to hug and kiss on her...

For some reason since she was born Pierce has been asking a lot to go to Texas to see his cousin Sarah... not sure why he calls her Sarah but seems that she already has a nickname from him...

Here are some great pics... I love the close up of when she was naked bc I can see all the baby wrinkles and count all the toes and fingers... I can just smell the baby smell just by these pictures...

We love you Anna Baby!
